A great resource for books to keep an eye on this spring and summer! I already have the advance copies of a couple of these, so it’s given me a push to move them up my TBR.

Excellent chance to peek into the publishing future. Forty-nine books in the categories Fiction, Debut, Non-fiction, and Young Adult. Looking forward to several review ARCs that I have requested.

Great to see what's coming out. If you tend to read the same genre this is handy as you can sample something that you might not have went for before. Great idea.

This has been a fun read to see more upcoming books.

I received a complimentary copy of the book from the publisher Lunch BUZZ BOOKS through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

A great way to sample what’s coming in the near future and to discover authors and genres you may otherwise not encounter or choose.
Thank you to NetGalley for this opportunity to read.

Buzz Books is such a great way to review what is comingh up in the Spring/Summrer time - I found so many that I would like to read - this shows a lot of books that are coming out in the next season - you get an excerpt and it is just enough for you to get interested and want to continue reading - I even found a book or two or three that I wouldn't normally check out - you find a new author - maytbe even decide another genre - I am hooked on Buxx Books - and on top of that, you also havre an opportunity to get some of these books at the end of each piece - my next few weeks/molnths of reading is awaiting me. Thank you PUblishers Lunch. You have made a happy person and helped me find a new author or two. You will also enjoy reading the excerpts and finding a new author or find an author you llike is coming out with another great book.

I downloaded it when I first created my account because there were so many books that it was overwhelming and I didn't know where to start. This book was a little field guide.

As usual, this is a good source to find out about upcoming books. However, I don’t have the time or patience to look up every title. So I really wish that instead of just providing a list of books this book would include at least a brief description of each book. Descriptions are provided only for the few books that are excerpted. Since descriptions are missing, I now just investigate the books by authors I already know, and nonfiction books with descriptive titles. I’m sure that I miss some gems.

I received a free copy of this book from the publisher. It’s also free on Amazon.

Now I have a big homework to do: log my most anticipated books in Goodreads, then track and request on NetGalley.

I have planned out some of my spring/summer reads using this tool.
I now have a great idea of some of the ARCs I will be requesting for this upcoming book season.

I'll be honest, I didn't mean to request this. But I'm glad I did! This was really helpful and gave me some good ideas of which books to request. Thank you, NetGalley!

I really enjoyed Buzz Books 2025: Spring/Summer! This collection introduced me to many books I wouldn’t have discovered otherwise, whether due to genre, cover appeal, or simply not being on my radar. I’m so happy I took the time to read through it, as it has now added so many new books to my TBR. I appreciate how it provided a fantastic opportunity to explore new voices while getting sneak peeks at upcoming releases from established authors.

Noteworthy Mentions:

📖 Crush – Ada Calhoun
This had such a strong opening! I really enjoyed the writing style, and despite my ever-growing TBR, I immediately went to find the book on NetGalley and put in a request. If I don’t get approved, at least it’s coming out at the end of the month!

📖 Ties That Bind Us – Nicole Knight
I know mafia romance is a hugely popular genre, but for some reason, I’ve never been particularly drawn to it. However, I really enjoyed this sneak peek—the writing was gripping, and I’m now curious to read more. I think more publishers should offer sneak peeks like this, as they can absolutely change a reader’s mind!

📖 The Magician of Tiger Castle – Louis Sachar
I read Holes years ago and loved it, so I was surprised and excited to see that Louis Sachar is venturing into adult fiction! The plot sounds fascinating, and the writing style drew me in immediately. Definitely one of the books I’m most looking forward to.

📖 The Listeners – Maggie Stiefvater
Oh, what a delight. I was already looking forward to this book, but after reading the beginning, it’s now even more torturous knowing I have to wait. You’d think I’d run to request a copy immediately, but I’m holding off—(not very patiently!)—until I’ve grown my social media a bit more and reviewed more DARCs to increase my chances. I know many readers are coveting this one, and I can see why!

📖 Storybook Ending – Moira Macdonald
A love triangle + a bookstore? Yes, please! I’m definitely intrigued by the plot, and I can’t wait to see how it plays out.

📖 The Mafia Nanny – sh00, Violet Matter, Rouusuu, Drawniels
This was a very short sneak peek, but it seems like a fun read! I don’t read a lot of webtoons—normally, I opt for manga—but this one has me curious enough to give it a try.
