Picked only a couple that I'd love to read, but I really enjoy getting these little chapters, because sometimes I find I'm surprised by a new author or genre I'd previously thought I didn't care for.

At this point, it's easier keeping track of books I don't want to read. I enjoyed reading about the upcoming buzz books. Added some to my TBR.

I look forward to this Buzz Books edition every season! I love reading the excerpts and getting a sneak peak at what's coming out. The zoom to listen to the authors and agents is one of the best events - I love hearing information about a book straight from the author.
There are some really great books coming out! I've added so many of these to my TBR!
I'm loving this shift to more Gothic and horror reads and am excited about Gothictown, House of Monstrous Women, Blood Slaves. I've loved previous stories by these authors so I'm excited for The Ghostwriter, The Listeners & Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil! The Paris Express, The Girls of Good Fortune, and The Memory Hunters all sounds intriguing! And I See You've Called in Dead: A Novel sounds like the soul searching, touching book I need for 2025. And All the Other Mothers Hate Me sounds like the biting humor and mystery I need!
2025 is going to be an amazing reading year!

Buzz Books 2025: Spring/Summer by Publishers lunch, thank you for bringing so many new books that i get to add to my ever growing arc tbr. Some of these are new authors to me and I can't wait to read them and share the book reviews with my followers.
That's the best part finding new treasures. That's what they are treasures something created from an authors mind and made into a book. We then get to delve into and explore them. So thank you for bringing so many authors into the limelight and looking forward to reading them

This is my first compilation like this and Buzz Books 2025: Spring/Summer did not disappoint. I was able to find several books that were brand new to me that I am now very interested in reading. I appreciate that how well this collection is laid out and that it includes summaries of each book and a very generous excerpt. The direct link to request was also very helpful. I'm sure this was a big project to put together and I appreciate the diversity in both subject and genre. I would have liked a bit more breadth and variety in nonfiction and in the young adult offerings, but overall this collection is great.

So many exciting titles coming. Absolutely loving being part of the Netgalley family and excited to keep discovering new books and new authors.

There are some really interesting titles coming out this spring/summer, can’t wait to request and read them!

Once again Buzz Books 2025: Spring/Summer is an addictive Biblio-Smorgasbord for book lovers. The format is perfect with a clear Introduction of what to expect in this issue of Buzz Books. The full Publishing Preview section is the larger selection of titles by category, with title/publisher/publishing date for each. There are always gems here. This time is no different. The Israeli writer Etgar Keret’s new book of stories comes out in May, and this is not to be missed. Colum McCann, William Dalrymple, and Ron Chernow also make my list. Then onto the selected books from that list with their excerpts. These excerpts whet the reader’s literary appetite with well-picked passages, some thankfully longer like the remarkable V. E. Schwab’s “Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil.”
Each new Buzz Books publication is something now I impatiently await. When it is published, I pour over the titles. Each time my “essential” and “possible” booklist grows as I delve into the summaries and excerpts. My biblio-possibilities this time range from an obit writer adrift (“I See You’ve Called in Dead”), to a ghostwriter entrapped to write about a murder possibly committed by her father (“The Ghostwriter”), and to a bookstore novel (“Storybook Ending”) - and more.
I am grateful to Publishers Lunch and NetGalley, as well as all the authors and publishers, for providing this amazing sampling of upcoming books. I eagerly look forward to the next Buzz Books publications.

This compilation of the buzziest books of Spring/Summer 2025 has me absolutely dying to fill my ereader with so so so many books!! Some of my favorite authors are included in Part One: VE Schwab, Julie Clark, Kristina McMorris. Part Two is devoted to Debut authors, which is wonderful. I can't always eager to find new favorites. NonFiction is covered in Part Three and Young Adult in Part Four. Highly recommend!

My Insight:
I enjoyed the Buzz book collection sample previews. I will find interesting reads from this list, and I look forward to reading them. It was wonderful to get the book cover and a summary of the novel.
Thank you, Publishers Lunch, for allowing me to preview many of these good reads.

Love these sampler books as easier to read what I want and also discover some new titles I might not get chance to read all of but can get a sense from the samples and recommend from that.

This was a really helpful resource. Looking forward to returning to it throughout the year. I appreciate having so much compiled in one place.

This is a great summary of new releases coming in spring and summer 2025. What I love about it are the excerpts that I can read to determine which ARCS to request. I knew about some of these books but not all and I’m really excited to read them.

Buzz Books is a superior sampling of books that are coming up in 2025. I always enjoy reading these. I can't wait to read some of these stories. I would love to see more middle grade included in these round ups

Always love these collections. I added several of these titles to my TBR and request list on Netgalley. I look forward to them every season!

Huge fan of these excerpt collections! This edition has a PLETHORA of excerpts including fiction, non-fiction, and YA. I found some new books to put on my radar.
Thank you Publishers Lunch!

Great guide that introduced me to books that I wouldn’t have thought of reading otherwise! I liked that I could click through and pick and choose which books I wanted to look at and that the books I was interested in gave a lengthy chunk of the book to read.

Great opportunity to get a taste of some of the new books launching this year and figure out which ones I want to preoder
