This is a great little glimpse of what to expect in the coming seasons. Looking forward to getting my hands on some of the books previewed in here!

It's so fun to read the Buzz Books previews, in this case for Spring and Summer of 2025. These excerpts shine a light on the new books wet will want to request or read this spring and summer. So many books so little time. Thanks to Net Galley and the publishers for these previews

I loved the sneak peak to the upcoming book seasons! I have started making my TBR! Thank you for developing these for us. It is greatly participated.

A fascinating glimpse into some new titles for 2025. A good mix of authors; some familiar and others a debut. A first look at covers and a short extract from the book. It’s a real taster; an amuse bouche which I’ve enjoyed and I’m already looking out for quite a few.

It’s great to have access to future publications, something that is usually reserved for editors and publishers alone. Great collection, where I was happy to find familiar faces whose next book I’m excited about and really grateful to have read snippets from reads I’m looking forward to! Also tackled the debut section and wrote down a few titles to keep on my radar. Thank you for this precious opportunity

Such a great glimpse into this year’s books, really love how detailed each book was presented and the added excerpts. Excited to read so many of these.

It is good. I love that it gives samples to a lot if not all of the new books coming out this spring/summer. I can’t wait to read them when they come out. I have a bigger tbr list because of this.

I love being able to read the first few pages of a book; you see some retail sites and subscription services doing it more and more frequently. It’s a fantastic way to see if an author’s writing style or the story is for you.
Not only are there several upcoming selections -a few from authors I read frequently that I had no clue about-, there is a relatively full like across several fiction and non-fiction areas included before the excerpts start.
I picked this up for the V.E. Schwab and the translated fiction, but also enjoyed shampoo unicorn and the listeners.

I didn't like the format at the beginning, it was just a list with different new books for the new season. But then it is divided into genres for 49 picked books and I loved that I could see the cover and also I was able to read an excerpt of some of the books so I could have an idea of what would I would like to read this season. I think it needs to be a little bit more visual. Maybe a one - two page excerpt and try to add more books with covers. Most readers are very visual and the first impression is the cover, so that would be beneficial. Overall, a great first start to introduce the readers into so many stories!
Thank you Netgalley for the Buzz Books 2025 Spring/Summer book in exchange of my honest review.

A great collection of books coming out in spring/summer 2025. I especially appreciated the section of debut authors.

A really great concept. I'm excited by some of the debut authors, especially The Names by Florence Knapp.

Buzz Books: 2025 Spring/Summer by Publishers Lunch was very informative and also very helpful for my podcast. It helped me narrow down books we’d like to highlight being released in the spring/summer of 2025. The links in the table if contents were very useful and the summaries were helpful as well.

Buzz Books’s set of upcoming spring/summer books was a treat to discover! Admittedly, I went into this sampler to have an early sneak peek at V.E. Schwab’s new book Bury Our Bones Under the Midnight Soil, but I was impressed with the range of titles included. There was everything from romance to horror to manga to middle grade.
Of the titles listed, I’m most excited for:
The Listeners by Maggie Stiefvater: The author of my all-time favorite series is writing her adult debut! And it’s much different in its content compared to her previous novels. I’m really curious on how Maggie Stiefvater is going to cover WWII and magic, and this snippet is so compelling. I loved the writing and I’m desperate for more.
Bury Our Bones Under the Midnight Soil by V.E. Schwab: One of my most anticipated books of the year and I’ve been eagerly waiting for it since Schwab first shared her drafts. All you have to say is toxic lesbian vampires written by V.E. Schwab and I’ll preorder it immediately. I loved this sample and it reminded me a lot of reading Addie Larue for the first time! I need it to be June 10 ASAP.
The Bombshell by Darrow Farr: I hadn’t heard of this novel before and I don’t typically read books similar to it, but the sample was really interesting and I think I’ll give it ago when it comes out.
Storybook Ending by Moira Macdonald: With a cover like that, you bet I’m going to be interested. I also haven’t heard of this novel before and I also don’t typically pick up books similar to it, but it seems interesting.
Among Friends by Hal Ebbot: I’ve seen this book around and it looks really good. I was impressed by the sample provided!
The Memory Hunters by Mia Tsai: This is my first time hearing about this book and it seems so exciting! The concept is so unique and I’m glad it’s on my radar now. I’ll definitely be checking this author out.
I’m glad to have some new books on my TBR for 2025. This year is such a great one for books.

A fun preview! My thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for putting this preview together, I'm sure I'll be adding to my TBR (AGAIN) after reading all of these selections.

This list of upcoming releases is greatly appreciated. It helps to learn of new authors and books as well as plan my TBR.

This is quite a fascinating collection. I love the fact you get a sample of the books mentioned and a link to read or request. I will make good use of this! Thank you for the opportunity to browse and pick from Buzz Books 2025!

Every edition of this list is so appreciated! It’s a great resource for planning and recommending future reads for our audiences.

Loved reading a sneak peek to see what will catch my eye! Such a fun idea to give users a preview of upcoming releases to get ready for what to read in 2025.

Every year, I eagerly await the next Buzz Books sampler previewing the many new books publishing in the months ahead. Tough as the past week has been, this was a highlight that gave me something to look forward to.

Buzz Books 2025: Spring/Summer is a must-have resource for avid readers, book influencers, librarians and bookstore workers, and anyone else who works in the publishing industry. There is no shortage of original, eye-opening, and engrossing books to read, and this coming spring and summer will offer a plethora of options for all reading tastes. Seeing this list of books and these curated excerpts has only heightened my excitement for the publications that are coming.

This was my first time reading one of these sneak preview catalogues into the books coming out this year, and I will defintiely be reading the next edition!
This catalogue gives a sneak preview into the most anticipated books releasing in the spring and summer, along with some books coming out by debut authors.
It is well structured in the sense that it gives the release date and publisher of each book, and also gives an excerpt for each one!
I have definitely added a bunch of books to my TBR after reading through the catalogue, and will continue to consult this catalogue as the year goes on.
Thank you to netgalley for a free copy of this in exchange for my unbiased review!
