As always, a wonderful selection of books to whet our reading appetites for the coming season.
Thanks to the authors, publishers, and NetGalley for this sampler!

I really enjoyed skimming this! I have a lost of books that interest me and will keep my eye out. I think this is very cool for upcoming releases and I appreciate it a lot.

An excellent guide! Thorough, organized and a very informative guide to upcoming releases. Thanks for this copy Netgalkey.

I downloaded it when I first created my account because there were so many books that it was overwhelming and I didn't know where to start. This book was a little field guide.

As usual, this is a good source to find out about upcoming books. However, I don’t have the time or patience to look up every title. So I really wish that instead of just providing a list of books this book would include at least a brief description of each book. Descriptions are provided only for the few books that are excerpted. Since descriptions are missing, I now just investigate the books by authors I already know, and nonfiction books with descriptive titles. I’m sure that I miss some gems.
I received a free copy of this book from the publisher. It’s also free on Amazon.

Buzz Books 2025 offers a great introduction to many upcoming books with links to NetGalley. A great resource to find books to add to by TBR. Thank you NetGalley and Publishers Lunch.

This is such a good way of seeing an overview for this year's new releases. I've added the ones I'm excited for to my TBR and can't wait to read them!

Now I have a big homework to do: log my most anticipated books in Goodreads, then track and request on NetGalley.

Thank you so much for this.
I have planned out some of my spring/summer reads using this tool.
I now have a great idea of some of the ARCs I will be requesting for this upcoming book season.

I'll be honest, I didn't mean to request this. But I'm glad I did! This was really helpful and gave me some good ideas of which books to request. Thank you, NetGalley!

I always look forward to the new edition of Buzz Books. It’s such a great way to preview the upcoming releases before deciding if you want to read them. What a great a varied selection of new books! I added many of these to my Goodreads list . I know to be on the lookout for them on NetGalley.

A great way of getting an overview of this year's new releases. A wide range of titles, with just enough to hook you into the story. Many have been added to my TBR list and to the school librray wishlist.

I really enjoyed Buzz Books 2025: Spring/Summer! This collection introduced me to many books I wouldn’t have discovered otherwise, whether due to genre, cover appeal, or simply not being on my radar. I’m so happy I took the time to read through it, as it has now added so many new books to my TBR. I appreciate how it provided a fantastic opportunity to explore new voices while getting sneak peeks at upcoming releases from established authors.
Noteworthy Mentions:
📖 Crush – Ada Calhoun
This had such a strong opening! I really enjoyed the writing style, and despite my ever-growing TBR, I immediately went to find the book on NetGalley and put in a request. If I don’t get approved, at least it’s coming out at the end of the month!
📖 Ties That Bind Us – Nicole Knight
I know mafia romance is a hugely popular genre, but for some reason, I’ve never been particularly drawn to it. However, I really enjoyed this sneak peek—the writing was gripping, and I’m now curious to read more. I think more publishers should offer sneak peeks like this, as they can absolutely change a reader’s mind!
📖 The Magician of Tiger Castle – Louis Sachar
I read Holes years ago and loved it, so I was surprised and excited to see that Louis Sachar is venturing into adult fiction! The plot sounds fascinating, and the writing style drew me in immediately. Definitely one of the books I’m most looking forward to.
📖 The Listeners – Maggie Stiefvater
Oh, what a delight. I was already looking forward to this book, but after reading the beginning, it’s now even more torturous knowing I have to wait. You’d think I’d run to request a copy immediately, but I’m holding off—(not very patiently!)—until I’ve grown my social media a bit more and reviewed more DARCs to increase my chances. I know many readers are coveting this one, and I can see why!
📖 Storybook Ending – Moira Macdonald
A love triangle + a bookstore? Yes, please! I’m definitely intrigued by the plot, and I can’t wait to see how it plays out.
📖 The Mafia Nanny – sh00, Violet Matter, Rouusuu, Drawniels
This was a very short sneak peek, but it seems like a fun read! I don’t read a lot of webtoons—normally, I opt for manga—but this one has me curious enough to give it a try.

I always look forward to another edition of Buzz Books. It’s a great way to preview upcoming releases before committing to the entire book. I enjoyed the thorough list of upcoming releases at the beginning. I learned of a few upcoming titles from auto-read authors that I added to my TBR and know to be on the lookout for them on NetGalley.

This is a good sampling of a large number of upcoming titles from a wide variety of publishers with a good sampling of genres, intended age groups, and authors. Useful tool for evaluation purposes.

Such a great way to find new reads! Looking forward to checking a bunch of these new galleys out before they come out this summer!

Love Buzz books early previews.
Thanks to author, publisher and Netgalley for the chance to read this book. While I got the book for free it had no bearing on the rating I gave it.

Good list of upcoming books. Looking forward to a lot of them! Some of the authors I am really excited about reading, some I have not been familiar with, and some had descriptions that sound super compelling! It'll be interesting to see which of these books are able to capture the masses' attention, and come out as a blockbuster.

This collection features new works from many beloved authors. Those that I was excited about were V.E. Schwab and Emma Donoghue. The anthology is well-organized, offering summaries and excerpts that give readers a taste of what's to come. While nonfiction and young adult sections could use more variety, the overall selection is diverse and engaging. It's a must-read for book lovers eager to discover their next favorite read.

I love getting to look through upcoming titles and read excerpts from those that look interesting. Unfortunately, this round did not have as many that piqued my interest as usual.
I'm also not a fan of the Thorium reader. It made it more difficult to jump back and forth from the table of contents to titles I wanted to check out. Not knocking off any stars for that as it's a personal preference thing.
