this one was really cute but I didn’t love the ending and third act breakup! it felt kind of pointless and didn’t add much to the story in my opinion. I did love both the characters and their story though!

This book was so cute! The story was so fun to read and the romance was so cute and the banter was top tier!

It had unexpected content, which I didn't like, i would have wanted to know about it before i even requested the book, so that i would cancel my request, so I DNF this book.

Visa to Forever by Matilda Grei
This story drew me in, made me feel, and had me hoping Alana and Marcus would manage to eventually find a happy life together though there were many times it didn’t seem they could or would.
What I liked:
* Alana: hard worker, illegally in the USA, worried about being caught, making money to assist with her father’s medical problems, warm, caring, generous, insecure, really likes Marcus
* Marcus: wealthy, entitled, selfish, difficult to like at first, grew a lot and grew on me as a character, difficult father, found purpose and started to find himself when he met Alana
* Watching the development of the relationship between Alana and Marcus
* All of the hurdles the couple faced and how they did and did not always get things “right”
* The support Alana’s family provided – enjoyed seeing the Pilipino culture in this book
* The backstory of Joshua – Marcus’s father – and its impact on more than one
* That though it had a fairytale feel it wasn’t a light bright happy all the time
* Ben: Alana’s friend and employer
* Noah: good friend to Marcus
* The plot, pacing, setting and writing
* That everything eventually worked out for the main characters
What I didn’t like:
* Who and what I was meant not to like
* Thinking about what parents are willing to do to manipulate their children and the damage they can do
* Thinking about bigotry and bias and wishing it didn’t exist
Did I like this book? Yes, it grew on me
* Would I read more by this author? Yes, if the synopsis appealed to me

What a gem of a book this was, perfect way to wrap up my January reads!
This book is more than a billionaire romance ( in my opinion) the multicultural representation ( Filipino ) is just beautiful, the characters are written with such depth and layers that you can't help falling in love with both the FMC and MMC
I absolutely adored the love story between Alana and Marcus, you can tell I ATE the book up from me trying to stop myself from updating my goodreads too much😂 I rooted for them with my whole heart like I literally lived the story with them .. one of those books that makes me love love, a story of hope, resilience and determination.. you really can never truly know what life has in store for you...
I won't get over this book any time soon...
Thank you NetGalley for the arc

The story is beautiful! I love how the different worlds have collided!
The development of characters was really good, it get's to your heart, rather emotional book! And the chemistry between these two!!
Book was the first one for me from this author and I will wait for more.
Thank you Netgalley and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for this e-ARC oppotuninty!

Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for providing me with an ARC of this book. When I stumbled upon the premise of this book I was so excited because I love cheeky romcoms and there’s nothing better than a baller man who’ll do anything for the woman he loves. Unfortunately, this book disappointed. For starters, I couldn’t immerse myself into the novel due to the writing style. The descriptions were not immersive and felt like reading “the sky is blue”. If that wasn’t enough the dialogue didn’t do it for me either and the characterization was not something I could even root for either since the main MC was beyond insufferable for most of the book. I congratulate the author on the publishing of this novel, an accomplishment indeed, and I thank the publisher and Netgalley for this copy but unfortunately this one was a major miss.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to read an advance copy of this book. I enjoyed the premise and character development. I will likely pickup more books by this author in the future.

This one was an easy 4.5 for me! I loved the characters and the elements of a Cinderella re-telling (I'm a sucker for that trope, and when it's done well, it's done SO well - think Ever After but modern). It also has elements of kind of a 90-day-fiance type of arrangement, and I watch that show religiously, so this book was made for me!
The characters were well fleshed out, the MC's had tremendous chemistry, and I was so invested in their story all the way through to the end!
It was a fast and easy read, but was really emotional at times (in a good way - character growth!).
Overall, I highly recommend it!

Amazing Cinderella novel,
This writing style reminds me of Emily Henri, and it's just so amazingly good.
