I can't imagine having your child taken from you. Especially against your will. Especially when it feels unfair or gaining your custody back feels too hard. I've known alot of people through abuse set up to fail and further abused via situation was I was interested in reading a book with the character fighting her own battle.
I didn't warm to the characters whole heartedly but I don't think you always have to. And that doesn't stop you becoming involved in their stories and thinking this a good read.

A good romance. I wasn't fond of the female lead character, but she eventually grew on me. The male kind of worked in reverse. Great at first and then I had my doubts. A good story about custody battles and parents and relationships. I did skip over the intimate scenes. Thanks to the publisher for providing a copy via NetGalley. My review is voluntary.
