Demons escaping h3ll to live their own lives on Earth. What could go wrong? Or maybe, what could go right? Based on there being multiple books within the H3ll Bent series, I’m excited to see everyone’s story take place - especially Mist. The guys seem like baby deers walking around on Earth learning as they go which makes it even funnier. Eva and Ash were the first pair and I loved their story and their common interests. Demons, spice, music and light-hearted entertainment? What’s not to enjoy? I’d definitely recommend this book and audiobook to anyone.
Thank you to NetGalley and RB Media for allowing me an ALC of My Funny Demon Valentine. This was definitely a cutesy rom-com-esque book with spice and hilarious banter. The narrator Kristen does a fantastic job.

4/5⭐
Sweet demon romantasy story. Is it spicy - yes. Is it hot - also yes. Do you read it because of something else - no.
Even though the concept of the wrongly understood 4 greater demons is good, I wouldn't hold on it.
However, I think that the concept of loving can change your soul (and give you one) I would agree and because of this I really liked the book.
It is also funny and you read it/ listen it easy.
The writing style of the author is good and I would recommend this to anyone who wants funny, spicy, supernatural book.
Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is the fun paranormal romance with a bit of spice that you have been looking for! The audiobook narration takes the book to the next level and makes it come even more alive! Great banter, fun action both in and out of the bedroom, a fun paranormal twist and nice spice level to leave those who like it a bit spicier happy while not tipping those who aren't into open door spice over the edge with too much in your face spice. I'd definitely toss this into the rom com category with a bit of spice as it is funny while still allowing for more serious emotions to show through as well. I absolutely can't wait to listen to the next book in this series as these characters are way too much fun and I can't wait to keep the fun rolling! FYI: This is the first book in the series and I can't wait to see how many more are coming!

I had no idea what to expect with this one, but oh boy, this was a ride 😆
😈 paranormal romance
😈 angels & demons
😈 multiple POV
Demons hiding in the human world after escaping hell is quite a premise lol They're at a night club one night where one of the demon brothers (MMC) meets our FMC. She gets dragged into their world and uncovers many-a-secrets that shake her world. Overall, this was just a fun story. I loved the brothers and enjoyed the premise of the story - the magic was cool and the way to get around our MMC's curse was interesting. I do wish there had been more of a build-up between our MCs before they got together and I feel like our FMC could have been way more developed.
In summary: a pretty fast-paced easy read that is fun, but not really the deep.

Aurora Ascher makes a demon your valentine! She also introduces you to the new bad boys to add to your wish list! This was such a fun way to start a series! I'm so hell bent on finishing this series and can't wait to read the rest of the story line! I like the horns! I loved the family aspects from her POV and his POV. I did not guess the story line but this reminds me of a steamy Fallen with the literal devil's advocate. I honestly can't wait to see what else Aurora writes! Thank you so much to the publisher, author, and Netgalley!

Not my cup of tea.
Writing was subpar, and book as a whole felt as if it should be humorous but came off as annoying.
Thank you NetGalley for the free audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

I was so excited to get the ALC of this book! This was adorable instalove paranormal romance and such a funny ride!
Ash and his brothers have left the confines of hell and are hiding out in their human forms on earth. Ash is cursed to remain unmemorable to any of his potential partners but when he meets Evangeline she can see through the curse and the more time they spend together the more people can see the real him. But the brothers are being hunted and Ash is trying to keep his true identity a secret from Evangeline.
This felt like a great palate cleanser that was perfectly timed between some heavier reads for me.
I thought the narrator did an amazing job of creating such an immersive world. I’m always amazed by how one person can do so many unique voices and can create such engrossing listening experience.
Read if you like:
* Hidden Secrets
* Brothers
* Curses
* Winged MMC
* Hippie Parents
* Laugh out loud humor

I would like to start the review by saying thank you to NetGalley and RB Media for the ALC, gift for an honest review.

Overall rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My Funny Demon Valentine, book 1 in the Hell Bent series, by Aurora Ascher, is a great first installment in this paranormal romance series. This book followed Asmodeus (Ash) and Evangeline (Eva) as they navigate the ups and downs of a new relationship and Ash discovers what it truly means to be free of Hell.
I really liked the relationship development between Ash & Eva, and I appreciate the multi-POV narrative. I’m looking forward to the rest of the series!
—————————————————————————-
Asmodeus, Prince of Hell, just wants to play music. Jazz, specifically. Unfortunately, he's a demon, and he's supposed to be evil. A career as a musician isn't exactly an option. And he's cursed, to top it all off. Sick of playing by the rules, Ash and his brothers escape Hell in search of freedom on Earth, only to discover it's harder than they thought to keep their enemies off their tail. The four rogues quickly become the Underworld's Most Wanted, and if they're caught... The consequences will be dire. Everything changes for Ash when he meets a beautiful violinist who can see through his curse.
It must be too good to be true, but he can't resist the temptation. No matter the risk, he has to have her. Evangeline Gregory is just your average human. She works at a jazz bar, plays gigs on weekends... And, apparently, hallucinates demons. At least, that's what she tells herself happens when, moments after she meets the man of her dreams, she sees him shift into a seven-foot-tall, red-skinned monster. Not believing her own eyes, Eva decides to investigate and soon finds herself caught in the middle of a supernatural clusterf**k of epic proportions. But Ash isn't the only one keeping secrets, and the search for answers reveals a shocking truth that will change the course of her life forever.
Or maybe just doom it. My Funny Demon Valentine is a steamy paranormal romance about learning how to love (and what love is in the first place) with an HEA, clothes-ripping-hot love scenes, and a crew of devilish demon brothers who are supposed to be the bad guys. There's violence, sex, and too much swearing. You've been warned.

Aurora Ascher’s *My Funny Demon Valentine* offers a quirky twist on paranormal romance, blending jazz, demonic antics, and forbidden love. Asmodeus, a musically inclined prince of Hell fleeing his evil destiny, charms with his rebellious spirit, while Eva’s relatable skepticism adds grounding humor. The premise—rogue demons evading underworld capture—sparkles with creativity, and witty banter keeps pages turning.
However, the novel stumbles in execution. Characters, though entertaining, lack depth, their motivations feeling underdeveloped. Ash’s curse and Eva’s hidden secrets hint at complexity but resolve too predictably. Romantic scenes, while steamy, suffer from clunky dialogue diminishing emotional stakes. The underworld conflict, though fun, occasionally overshadows character growth.
For readers seeking light, humorous paranormal fluff, this delivers. Yet those craving richer emotional arcs or nuanced relationships may find it underwhelming. A playful romp with hellish flair, but not quite infernal perfection.

I could not finish this book unfortunately. The writing felt really off to me, the smut made me uncomfortable...I'm not sure what it was, I just couldn't get behind this even with the audio. The narrators did fine, it just didn't hit the spot I thought it would. I found myself struggling to want to continue reading this, so I stopped reading. Thank you for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my honest review.

I thought this was very good and I will have to add this to the shop shelves. Thank you for the chance for us to review.

This was a fun read. It has it moments were you had second hand cringe from characters having awkward first moments together as well as happiness that the characters could come to a good conclusion. It does have its twists and does a good job setting up other characters for more books.

Let's be honest here the synopsis sells a lot. But it did not deliver the way I wanted to.
There's not much plot to the story beside one or two plot point that remain throughout the story . It would be a good bingeable series for when I want to read without thinking.
❖ I was not expecting multiple POV or even a dual POV but it really help the story from time to time.
❖ The FMC being called Eva did not help me liking her but beside that her behaviour/personality didn't match the event she faces. She want to be portrayed as a badass woman with a cool musician life but she just ends up being insufferable. When she is confronted to paranormal activities she either overreact or she don't react at all.
❖ her mother was a good motherly character but she gives shitty advices. What do you mean your daughter met a guy that may be a dangerous demon and you tell her to try to explore the relationship before making a decision ?
❖ My favorite characters were definitely the demon brothers. All of them were endearing and even though the storyline is not the most interesting and original I want to know what some of them hide and what they went through. Even the character of Mist is endearing he seams so lost about the human but still want to learn about them

I had been hearing this book mentioned all over the internet and was so excited to have early access to this audiobook. Unfortunately this story just wasn’t for me.

I was gifted this audiobook after it was published. but I have to say I enjoyed it! the narrators were so fun and I loved the banter between the characters.

I was hooked from the start of this, it was just so funny! The audiobook was a blast, maybe listening to it made it even better. The characters were so funny together and it made the book chaotic but in a great way. There was no depth or anything and the author definitely set up this ending for the next books, but overall it was fun.

3.75 🌟
This was one of my first demon romance books, I got the privilege of getting an early listener copy for my honest review. I think the narrators did a really good job, the overall story was cute, and fun, definitely a good demon romcom. There were parts that were really funny and I found all the demons were interesting and likeable. I was thrown off by the title, I did in fact think this was a Valentine romance book, when in fact the name is about a song. Also I am not the biggest fan of books written in third person, but was a good read overall, and I will probably continue on to see what happens next.

I absolutely loved this audiobook. I gave it 5 stars just for the vibes. I loved the music elements of the story especially as a musician myself. This was such a fun read, and the spicy scenes were great. I loved all the brothers and now I can't wait to read each of their stories!

Soft DNF… I got the ick around chapter 8 and felt physically sick trying to push through, but at the same time, there’s something about it that makes me think, maybe I’ll pick it back up. I get why the bad reviews exist, but I’m still a little tempted to see where it goes.
