Thank you Netgalley and the author Aurora Ascher for the early access audiobook of My Funny Valentine.

😈Demon Romance
😈Cursed MMC
😈Multi POV
😈Horns

✨Asher, a lust demon, was cursed and can no longer see colors, smell, or taste anything. Women also no longer notice him and don’t find him attractive unlike his demon “brothers”. One day they walk into a bar and Eva notices Asher, even though she shouldn’t be able to. Everything in their relationship is going great until she finds out he isn’t human… and something or someone might be after them. ✨

My thoughts:
💫I thought this book was absolutely adorable with a great amount of spice. I loved all the characters. The audiobook reader did an amazing job relaying all the emotions and different characters. I ordered the deluxe edition to have a trophy and preordered the next few in the series cause I cannot wait to find out what happens with the other characters💫

I really enjoyed the plot of this book. I did find the FMC to be a little flighty and airheaded though. The spicy bits were interesting, I liked all the monsters and the music aspect. Overall this was a solid 3.5 on my list.

Thank you Netgalley for allowing me to review the audiobook for this book.

Now did I listen to this on Valentine's Day. Yes I did. Was I head over heals in love with it. Nope.

It was funny at times but the MMC was lack luster and there was a lot of lust.

I wish it was a little better but a strong 3 ⭐ ⭐⭐

Ash is used to being invisible after 3,000 years of being cursed. So, when he meets a beautiful violinist at a bar who sees past his curse, he is immediately intrigued and determined to have her regardless of the risk. Ash and his brothers have just escaped Hell and are currently being hunted. When Eva accidently sees Ash transform into a seven-foot monster and decapitate a gargoyle, she immediately believes she has hallucinated the whole thing. Eva is determined to figure out the truth but as Eva and Ash spend more time together, Eva finds there is more to this demon than she originally thought. Can Ash and Eva have their happy ending?

This was the perfect book to listen to right before Valentine's Day. I loved the chemistry between Ash and Eva and I really enjoyed the overall banter between the brothers. I was completely obsessed with this story and ended up finishing this audiobook in one day. I am excited to listen to the next book and hope that all of the original characters will be back.

Thank you to NetGalley and RB Media for the opportunity to review My Funny Demon Valentine. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I LOVED this book! It's really got it all, multiple relationship dynamics. It is in third person perspective, and I thought that was going to detour me, but the book was just so good that I was able to overlook that. The characters are relatable, the storyline is creative. I have never read anything by this author and I am impressed. If you enjoy paranormal romance, definitely grab this one.

I had been looking forward to this one, and OMG did I have every reason to be. It was so so cute and the perfect little spicy romcom! I am probably going to be chasing the high of this type of book for a while now. The audio was well done and kept me engaged, and of course the characters are so much fun. I also really love the correlation of names; Eva to reference Eve in the Garden of Eden for Asmodeous, the lust demon. Overall, I really, really enjoyed this!

Enjoyed how eva and ash bonded over music and how their shared passion brought them together and changed them. It was a cute and smutty book, it was an easy low risk read, perfect for valentines day.

Ok, this may be a case of not taking this book too seriously but I really enjoyed this one. I will admit that some of the language and the writing style isn't the best but if you are looking for classic literature or something that is more highbrow, maybe don't choose a book with the title "My Funny Demon Valentine". As for me, this one was steamy and silly and fun and yes, it's predictable for the most part but it was a good time.

I also enjoyed the audio narration done by Kirsten Leigh.

Thank you NetGalley for the audiobook. This book drew me in from the beginning. I keep seeing people talk about it and it was worth the read between the banter and spicy I highly recommend and give 5 stars. Will definitely be reading the rest of the series.
The story start with her falling quickly for Ash from across the bar which quickly end with the in her bed, they have chemistry that they cannot deny, but the one night means she in danger cause Ash and his brothers are demons on the run. She has to follow them for her safety while finding out the truth about her father.

This is a good 3.5 for me. I don’t get the name, it’s not a funny book? Ash seems to be devoid of personality as well as a soul but the story was good and I enjoyed listening! Thank you NetGalley for letting me listen and review!

“My Funny Demon Valentine” is a cute and spicy paranormal romance about Asmodeus (Ash), a demon prince who escapes Hell with his brothers and meets Evangeline (Eva), a violinist who can see through his curse. The chemistry between Eva and Ash is undeniable, and their romance is engaging from the moment they meet. The funny banter between Ash and his brothers adds to the entertainment. Eva, an average human who works at a jazz bar, finds herself caught in a supernatural whirlwind when she sees Ash transform into a monster. The story is filled with humor, steam, and heartwarming moments as Eva and Ash navigate their relationship and the secrets they both hold.

I ended up DNFing this book at 17%. I was not a fan of the writing style, or any of the characters. I saw so many reviews online gushing about the MMC and his brothers, I was unimpressed.
Ash (our MMC) is a demon who’s escaped from hell, cool. Sexy. Why does he talk to our FMC like an embarrassed middle school boy? “You want to talk to me?” Is something that Ash says, ew. The banter between him and his brothers again is very middle school.
Our FMC is not much better, she ends up seeing Ash’s true demon form. She then calls her mom and tells her mom she met a guy, but he might be a demon and the mom’s answer to give him the 3rd degree over dinner. Oh yeah this conversation happens while her mom and dad are in the middle of a nude photo shoot.
Which leads to our 1st sex scene, where the middle school vibes only get stronger with our FMC not sure if she’s climaxed or not and wanting to rub our MMC’s member all over herself. Not to be an adult about it our MMC doesn’t know how to open a bra. Between the child like behavior of our MCs and the general juvenile writing style of the author the sex scene was giving me the ick.

This was an interesting love story. They meet at a jazz bar and through their shared love of music fall for each other. I enjoyed the twists. Asch and Eva are both trying to navigate through new and exciting things in love. This is a hea, paranormal romance.

Surprisingly funny, expectedly spicy, and brilliantly action packed. I absolutely loved getting to know this bunch of characters and peeling back the layers of their lives, powers, and connections. Watching a demon fall for a girl after escaping Hell to live on earth? Brilliant. All of that whilst undercurrents of secrets are being unravelling, and a band of “brothers” are taking the mick out of the couple? Excellent. I’d recommend this to anybody who loves a supernatural twist on a rom-com.

This was a really fun paranormal dual POV romance between Ash, a cursed demon and one of four Princes of Hell, who escapes the demon realm to try to find freedom on Earth with his brothers. Looking to live an unassuming life as a musician, Ash wasn't expecting to fall for Eva, an violinist who has secrets of her own and is the one woman who can see Ash for who he really is. Spicy, suspenseful and full of family secrets, this was a great start to a new series that is sure to appeal to fans of authors like Jenna Levine, Kimberly Lemming or Brynne Weaver. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early digital and audio copy in exchange for my honest review! The narration by Kirsten Leigh was also impressive as she does a great job voicing a full cast of characters in unique and distinctive ways that makes it easy to distinguish between them all. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on book 2 in the series stat!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this advanced listener copy of My Funny Demon Valentine! Due to my own personal reading tastes, I decided to dnf this book at the 33% mark.

I was very intrigued by the back cover copy—a “funny, warm-hearted” twist on the paranormal romance genre? Yes, please! Unfortunately, the execution didn’t work for me. The tone is darker and cruder than I expected, and the prose isn’t aligned with my sense of humor. Even when it became clear that the vibes were darker and the hero more morally-gray, I wasn’t entirely opposed. However, some of the actions, words, and thoughts of the hero and his brothers (particularly surrounding women and sex) left me personally feeling uncomfortable. I do not believe I am the target audience for this particular paranormal romance.

I was intrigued by the idea of a paranormal romance with a dark, seductive edge, but this one just didn’t work for me. The premise had potential, but the execution fell flat— the writing felt sophomoric, and the spicy content was unimaginative.

As an older female reader, I don’t think I was the target demographic, which likely played a role in my lack of connection to the story. Ultimately, I decided to DNF.

Thank you to the author, RBmedia and NetGalley for the chance to listen to this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
