Should I read in order?
This is very readable alone even though it’s #3 in Capulet’s New York Billionaires series.

Basic plot:
Lila gets drunk and tells her friend’s boss all about her problems – including her unrequited love being on the guest list at her friend’s wedding she’s driving cross country to the next day. When he shows up the next morning, they go on the road trip of a lifetime.

My thoughts:
I really enjoyed this book! I loved Capulet’s writing style – I feel into it really easily and I found her funny and engaging. I loved her playful dialogue. I definitely want to try more from her!

This is my first billionaire romance (I think??) and I rather loved leaving behind all the financial stress of life and reading about doing anything your heart desires. I loved how obsessed the hero was and how hard he pursued her. That is my jam in romance and I found it in spades here.

There was some aspects that were definitely a bit cringey to me….things the hero would say in the bedroom that had me rolling my eyes a bit but also eating it up. Like cringing but loving it?? haha

Lila, an aspiring fashion designer living in New York and working two jobs, meets a  billionaire who surprisingly has the hots for her almost instantly. This book takes us through their 5-day journey together, as Colton takes Lila to CA to her friend's wedding. This book is a hot, spicy read, where a virgin and a man-wh*re connect. The relationship is interesting, however, there were some things that I wasn't too fond of. I didn't care for Colton using his status most of the time or the excessive inner dialogue that went on throughout the book. I also didn't care for the random descriptions of the sky. I'm not sure why the author kept mentioning the sky, but it just seemed like a lot. I don't need to know about the sunset in every chapter, or the stars, or how the moon looks. It was a bit excessive, in my opinion. Other than that, it was an alright read. 3 stars.

I am enjoying this series and this one was as fun as the previous books. Colton was so cute, fun and very possessive with Lila just wanting to get her into bed. Which quickly turned into more as they crossed the country. I rooted for Lila to make her way into the clothing designing business. The two were perfect for each other and rooted for them from the beginning.

For what it is, it’s great. It’s so cheesy and cringy but I laughed and enjoyed it for what it was.
The writing was easy to get on with and the story was easy to follow.

This book 100% is right up my alley. I could not put this book down and read it in less than 24 hours. I had not read any of the other books in this series so it can definitely be read as a stand alone. I will for sure be going back to read the rest of the books in the series and also going back to read the rest of Julie's repertoire.

If you are a fan of steamy romances with instant attraction, rich, buff, billionaires and innocent struggling but passionate, determined and sassy women, and a HEA ending, then you’ll love this book.

I have not read the earlier books in this series but discovered I can nab them on Kindle unlimited. They are the type of book I like to have on hand to read during the week, when I need something light, engaging and easy to read.

Lila is a dreamer but logical. Her pining after that jock loser is something a lot of women sadly still get hung up on, and it's great to see the right guy eventually come along.

Stop it right now. This was the best romance, naughty book I've read in a long time. I was so in love with Cole myself by the time they made it to LA. You can change the man whore. 😅
