For once, we have an age gap where the female lead is actually older, and the male lead is younger. That was a great surprise. I get tired of the age gap where the female is younger and the male is older. Now, to the review. This was a good age-gap, one-night-stand romance that turns into something more. Marcella wasn't playing around when it came to Holly! He wanted her and went after her. Now that is a book boyfriend.
Marcello Fortemani was having a banging year and is eager to prove his value at his family's Napa vineyard. The youngest of four siblings, he's used to having his ideas ignored. But when he suspects a collaboration with a local competitor, Whitaker Vineyard & Winery, Marcello quickly volunteers to take the lead.
Thank you, Netgellay, for the ebook in exchange for my honest review.

"The biggest crush on the most beautiful girl in Napa. She was older, sophisticated, completely out of his league…"
One -Night Crush(book 4 in the Fortemani family series) by Mia Heintzelman
This book !!!! Marcello "Baby " Fortemani is it 😍😍🔥🔥🔥🔥 Mia did her big one with this love story .....
Holly Whitaker and Marcello "Baby" Fortemani both care about their families and the businesses they built. Their unforgettable Night affair could complicate their now working relationship. Risk it all, or play it safe? 🤔
YESSSSSS!!!!!! This family, their fiercely protectiveness of each other and love of the legacy they have wraps up with the very Baby they put in a corner..... 💋💋💋💋🔥🔥🔥🔥

Don't jump into the middle of the series like I did. But if you do that you'll likely want to read all the stories of the Fortemani family. This was a great contemporary romance and my introduction to Mia Heintzelman.

This book was all Marcello Fortemani! Baby, definitely was not a baby by any means, and his unwavering pursuit of Holly Whitaker was definitely romance book inspired. Holly makes the decision to live, “just for the night” with a man who seems vaguely familiar. This one night lives rent free in her head for two days until she discovers that man is Baby/Cello, the youngest Fortemani that she babysat once upon a time. Not only that, but his family is acquiring her family’s winery and he’s her competition for a job she’s totally magnificent at. Mia writes this book as one you CANNOT put down. These two are literally waging war, falling in love, and Holly is fighting the fact that he’s 13 years younger than her. However, the chemistry is insane and Cello may be young but he’s definitely ready! The intensity of the feelings these two share once they’re in their Italian bubble is what solidified just the lengths Cello would go to get his woman. If you love an age gap where she’s older, workplace romance, fighting for the same position, I definitely recommend this book. The surrounding characters are just as great as the main characters as well.

This was overall a very interesting age-gap romance. The way this man adored and loved her. I knew she was struggling and I had loved so many parts of this. I had fun reading it and I can't wait to read more books by this author.

This is the first time I am reading this author. It was a sweet romance overall, though I felt Holly was overthinking the whole thing with "Baby" a bit too much. I also did not know book was part of a series, I may need to read those books as well to get a full picture of the Formenatis. I gave this book four stars because Holly was doing the most for supposedly doing the most. And that Marcello's mom was insistent on still treating him like a baby. There was also the fact the angsty part was all that angsty. But overall, it was a sweet read.

This book had me hooked from the very first page!! This reverse age-gap romance delivers on all the tropes—old babysitter to lover, workplace enemies-to-lovers, and forced proximity—with a fresh and compelling twist. The characters are well-written, their banter sharp, and their chemistry undeniable. A perfect mix of angst and charm, this story is a memorable ride that I thoroughly enjoyed! Eyes were def watery on a few parts so we know the book was definitely enjoyed. And I must say Baby is def not a baby anymore!!! He told Holly call him Cello now because he is a GROWN man!!!

MIA MIA MIA!!!! SIS!!! YOU DID IT AGAIN!
First I would like to say that I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
I just want to say that Mia Heintzelman is an automatic "buy" for me at this point. Every book I’ve read by her is beautifully written, featuring relatable characters and compelling conflicts. The emotional elements are thoughtfully developed, and every character serves a distinct purpose. It’s refreshing to read a love story between people of color that doesn't fall into stereotypes, where the families involved are successful, potentially including Fortune 500 business owners.
The main characters, Marcello and Holly, provide just the right amount of spice and banter, making sure their siblings and best friends don’t steal the spotlight. Both characters have family situations to navigate, and their families are always at the forefront of their decision-making, reflecting the value and pride they hold for their loved ones. The way they refer back to and seek wisdom from the elders around them is beautifully portrayed.
Mia is an author you can’t miss in the romance genre. I’m finishing this book feeling completely fulfilled—there are no loose ends or cliffhangers, just a solid story overall.
Thank you to NetGalley, Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op, Tule Publishing, and Mia Heintzelman for the ARC of this amazing book.

Quick, steamy, & adoring! This book catches you immediately! Age gap (she’s older), found family, and he falls first. Loved this book.

That was an hot, spicy romance to debut the week with.
The tension between the caracters was to die for.
I wish I could re-read this story it was amazing

This was very cute!
I have not read the others in the Fortemani family series - though now I want to - but did not feel lost. This absolutely stands alone!
I loved Holly’s ambition and drive (and home in Italy). I loved how determined Marcello was to shake the “Baby” nickname.
They have great chemistry, I enjoyed them together so much.
Things did go a bit zero-to-fifty in the middle and that felt abrupt. I also wish there was more resolution on some of their obstacles as a couple, not including age. But children, etc, as it was a topic of conversation for them both.
Thank you to Tule Publishing and NetGalley for the eARC!

Great book!!! Enjoyed everything about the writing and characters!! The pacing was well steady and structured. It was spice but not overly done it was very tender which I enjoy!!!

Hey, hey my favorites 😁 💚
⭐⭐⭐ (3/5 stars)
One Night Crush offers a fun, lighthearted premise with the promise of romance and intrigue. The chemistry between the two main characters is evident from the start, and their initial connection provides a promising foundation. However, the story ultimately lacks the depth I was hoping for, with predictable plot twists and character development that feels somewhat underexplored. While the book is enjoyable enough for a quick, easy read, it doesn’t quite evoke the emotional impact I was hoping for.
Overall, it’s a solid choice for readers seeking a casual romance, but it might not leave a lasting impression.

This book started out with the cutest set up and meet cute, and kept up the heat until the last page! It’s an age gap romance between the youngest son of the Forte, ani family and the girl next door who used to be his babysitter. A lot of it takes place in Tuscany so the setting was super dreamy. I wanted a little more development of their relationship before the love declarations but overall this was another great story from Mia!
I voluntarily read a gifted copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

Unfortunately this book didn’t really hit for me. The premise was good and it was excited for a strong older woman younger man age gap but instead found myself exhausted by both of them. The spice was hot but the tension was lacking.
I haven’t read any of the previous books in the series which could well have worked against me, perhaps I would have felt more committed to the characters.
I may eventually go back and start from the beginning to see if it changes my opinion.
As it stands it’s a solid 3 for me with good plot but lacking characters.
