This book is for anyone who loves steamy scenes, work place romance, with some cute friendships and moments along the way. I went into this unsure because I haven't read the other before or the first book, but Henri and Selena captured my heart. It was like a steamy hallmark movie. I listened to the audiobook and did not love the male narrator, he sounded so angry a lot of the time and I just didn't super enjoy that, but others might. I don't normally listen to a lot of steamy romance books so it might be a thing. Anyway, while I don't think this is one for my high school library, I would definitely recommend to people who like a solid romance, really sweet moments, so tense moments and I could definitely see where people said it had Gossip Girl vibes. I would read another book by the author.

Thanks to NetGalley for the audioarc to preview.

This is the second book the Biotech Billionaires series. Henry is the CEO of a powerful company by birthright. However, the board added a morality clause to his contract because he is known for partying and being out with multiple women. To remedy this, his sister hires someone from a PR firm to help give him the perfect year so that he can pass the morality clause with flying colors. Selena is hired to help him clean up his messes and stay clean for the year. They have an undeniable connection. The romance between the two is believable, and even though Henry has a reputation that warrants a morality clause in his contract, he is a good guy,

I liked this second Biotech billionaires book even more than the first I think! It follows Sloan's older brother, Henry, newly made CEO of the family company and in need of an image makeover. Sloan secretly hires, Selena, a PR consultant to help which leads to a forced proximity workplace romance with all the forbidden tension one could want. Two strong BIPOC leads, lots of SPICE and family drama and great on audio. This was perfect for fans of authors like Ana Huang or Lauren Asher. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early digital and audio copy in exchange for my honest review!
