What a sweet and wholesome story for both kids and adults alike. The main chracter, Allie, comes up with so many creative names and is also given the time to consider the best option, something she was able to take in an excellent lesson of patience. The illustrations were also lovely, a distinctive art style with bright, sharp colors to accompany the story to hold a child's attention.

Every Day Is a Holiday is about a family who works at animal shelter. One day, a puppy is dropped off and the family decides to take him home as their own. Now, what will they name him? This is a sweet picture book about getting a new pet. The illustrations are colorful and have lots of details for kids to look at. It is a great length for a bedtime story.

This was such a sweet story - I loved all the creative names Allie came up with and really appreciated that we got to explore OPTIONS with her while she took her time considering the best fit! What a great lesson in patience!

This book is very cute. The illustrations are perfect and I felt like there were just the right amount of words on each page. Of course, it is a kids book. I did read it to my niece who LOVED it. Any animal loving kids will enjoy this read, but beware they might want their own Holiday at the end of it.
