This is a simple journal for mild anxiety and depression. It asks you to write things like when you felt proud of yourself and details about a challenging situation you went through.

Anxiety and depression can be overwhelming to try to handle. For some people, it's hard to even imagine talking to a therapist or counselor to try to work throuh their feelings and find a way to move forward. This book is a great resource because it give the option of thinking through questions that a therapist might ask and using the workbook to journal your answers and come to conclusions on your own.

I don't think this book should be a replacement for a therapist or doctor, but for some people, it can be helpful. For instance, my daughter struggles greatly with both depression and anxiety, but she absolutely is not comfortable seeing a therapist and having those conversations. I'm fortunate, however, that she will open up to me and talk through her feelings and thoughts. I'm finding that the exercises and questions discussed in this book can be really useful to help guide me on ways that I can help her.

Embracing your strengths invites you to build resilience and move toward a more hopeful future. This strengths-based approach offers a positive way to navigate challenges while shaping a more fulfilling path forward. The Solution-Focused Workbook for Anxiety and Depression offers practical, evidenced-based solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) tools with a uniquely positive focus to help you:
● Draw on coping skills you already have
● Cultivate self-compassion
● Stay calm and collected in the moment
● Focus on creating a life of joy and hope

This workbook empowers you to harness your own strengths, guiding you toward improved mental health and a renewed sense of agency in your life. You'll also explore how nurturing hopeful and compassionate self-talk can help you regulate your emotions, foster positivity, and enrich your relationships. Most importantly, you'll learn to find peace in the present moment—even amid life's most stressful or difficult circumstances.

My thanks ot NetGalley and the publisher for this Advanced Reader Copy. All opinions are my own.
