I loved the first book in this series so much that I was really looking forward to reading this one, and I wasn't disappointed! This story takes place about 6 months after the kids (Andi, Quinn, Dylan and Frederick) manage to find their way back home from the fairy tale world of Elorium. This time they go back to rescue Jack, Frederick's grandfather, and hopefully bring him back with them. That's the plan anyway ....

As before, the world building in this book was phenomenal! The kids were a little bit more mature, but they still had their distinct personalities, which made it easy to fall right back into their world. The plot was interesting, and the ending fulfilling.

All in all, I enjoyed this book just as much as the first book and highly recommend it.
