Tell Me Lies is a swoon-worthy romance that keeps you hooked from beginning to end.
Logan Stern, an NHL star and single dad, and Maci McKenzie, a romance writer struggling with writer's block turned nanny, have a chemistry that's off the charts. Their connection is both sweet and intense, and I couldn't get enough of their interactions.
I loved Maci's independence and her journey towards healing from past trauma. She's a relatable character who inspires you to keep going, no matter what. And Logan? He's a total dreamboat and an amazing father to his adorable daughter, Amelia.
A bonus for fans of Gray's other series: you'll love seeing familiar faces pop up throughout the story. It's like catching up with old friends.
Chloe Ryan and Walker Williams did a fantastic job narrating this audiobook. They are able to capture the emotions and personalities of these characters. Their voices really brought these characters to life!
If you're looking for a heartwarming, swoon-worthy romance, Tell Me Lies is a must listen.

Audiobook Review
4.2 ☆
Logan is a single father. I often feel like the weight of the world sits on my shoulders. When his daughter's nanny gives him her two weeks' notice, he fears that his NHL season with the New England Bay Sharks could be derailed. Maci McKenzie, a struggling author running from a deep, dark secret in her past, steps into the picture. She needs a change of scenery to help her write.
This is my first book by this author, and I honestly enjoyed it. It was super cute and a quick read! I love the NHL and the book boyfriend trope, because Logan was definitely a great book boyfriend!
The audiobook was good—it's dual narration! Both narrators did a good job telling the story and were easy to understand. I listened at 2.1x speed.
Thank you, Netgellay, and Dreamscape Media for the audiobook in exchange for my honest review.

Haunting and Hot
Audiobook:
I found the default speed was too slow for my preference and listening at a faster speed, 1.5-2.5 improved my listening experience.
Chloe Ryan- A steady performance with variety in tone that keeps your ears perked up for what is coming next. You hear the conflict when the relationship escalates.
Walker Williams- The edge of the Southern accent works so well. He successfully delivers on distinguishing the difference amongst the characters he is delivering.
Tell Me Lies:
The tragedies this pair have been through are soul crushing and inspiring. Nurse Judy was a true guardian angel at the opening. This story ranges from haunting to hot!
Maci and Logan are filthy and unfiltered. They both keep Amelia as the top priority as their own relationship grows. The baggage is a heavy emotional load. The deep dark secret being held in had my head spinning.
“Tell me…..lies because I’m not ready to ruin us.”
