This was a delightful short read. I particularly enjoyed the unique twist on the classic love story. The disruption to the main charactersβ relationship presented a refreshing change from the usual storyline, making it an engaging and unexpected read. The plot twist at the end was particularly surprising and left me thoroughly impressed.

Great characters good storyline. Hooked from the first chapter. Thanks for letting me review. Would continue the series

Faced with false accusations, Phoebe Fletcher is thrust into the spotlight and becomes a focus for obsessive fans. Turing to her ex's bandmate, Axel Adler, together they strive to sort through the web of lies and treachery.
Emotionally charged and packed with twists and turns, this was a rollercoaster of a read.

Incredibly cliche but I liked the chemistry between the main characters.
the third act was soooβ¦ π like it just didnβt give what was needed. Very unnecessary in my opinion and it was rlly predictable.
The writing couldβve been a lot better in the sense that there was no fluency in the dialogue and the inner monologues needed to be shorter.
The best thing was almost all the characters showed complexity and they frustrated me to no end lmao. I wanted to literally throttle Cillian thru my phone.
It was easy to read even tho I cringed quite a bit with some of the lines.

This was such a good mix of romance, mystery and suspense! The amount that Phoebe goes through in the first few chapters is just shocking. She is such a strong FMC, I loved her so much.
This book reminded me a little bit of Starstuck and All Rhodes Lead to hear (both books Iβve read and previously reviewed). I really enjoyed the loyalty that the band showed Phoebe because of all their years together, and also the fact she is related to Nick.
Axel is such a solid MMC. He is steadfast, loyal and reliable beyond a doubt. I love the caring he showed Phoebe, and all the lightheartedness he shared with her after everything they went through together.
I love the twisted ending to this book! I didnβt really predict some of the stuff that happened until right before they did, but this book definitely had me on my toes wanting to know what was coming next!

Readers who revel in the intoxicating allure of steamy, high-stakes romances, where passion and danger intertwine, will find themselves utterly captivated by this enthralling narrative. The story unfolds amidst a whirlwind of suspenseful mysteries and intricate relationships, all set against the glamorous yet chaotic backdrop of fame and fortune. Prepare to be swept away by a tide of emotions as you navigate the complexities of love, loyalty, and betrayal in a world where secrets abound and nothing is quite as it seems. With each page, the stakes are raised higher, the tension becomes palpable, and the lines between love and obsession blur. This irresistible tale will leave you breathless, yearning for more, and questioning the very nature of desire and ambition.

I really enjoyed this book! The relationship between the MCs was well done and the twists with the mystery part where interesting. I did manage to figure out the whodunnit before the reveal but I don't think this is too much of a criticism.
I've read a couple of Kate Callaghan's books now and have really enjoyed them. I will definitely be picking up more in the future.
Thank you to Kate Callaghan and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

Not another rockstar by Kate Callaghan is told by alternating points of view from Phoebe and Axel. It also comes with a playlist with us also fun!
Phoebe is a painter and her boyfriend Cillian is her rockstar boyfriend. Cillian is in a band with Phoebe's brother called Brothers of Anarchy.
After the best painting showing of her career, her agent pulled out that Cillian hadn't showed up to her show. Phoebe decides to show up at the Brothers of Anarchy show, only for things not to go as planned.
After a fight, Cillian and Phoebe get in a tragic car crash and only Phoebe survives.
But after the video of her rockstar fiance's tragic car crash is released Phoebe Fletcher is hit with false accusations that she might have something to do with it. Through all this she forms a bond with the band's drummer, Alex Adler.
Will she be able to find her happily ever after or will she have to play a grieving fiance to a cheater?
Thank you Kate Callaghan for partnering with NetGalley. I received an advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion and review.

In this story we follow Phoebe who is a painter who has grown up with a famous rock band. Her fiancΓ© just so happens to be the lead singer of the band. When one night everything changes. We deal with cheating, death, pregnancy, murder, stalking, grief and so much more. It is a story that at its core is about romance but it is so much more. I love the way Kate is able to get you to so quickly just be a fly on the wall of her characterβs lives. With the ending Iβm wondering if there will be a sequel β€. Thank you Netgallery and Kate Callaghan for choosing me to be an arc reader of this book.

Not Another Rockstar by Kate Callaghan delivers an emotional story of love, loss, and healing set against the chaotic world of fame. The book begins with Phoebe reeling from betrayal and tragedy after her fiancΓ©βs affair and their fatal car accident. As she faces blame and threats, her move to live with the band brings her closer to Axel, whose long-hidden feelings for her add layers of tenderness to the romance.
The connection between Phoebe and Axel is heartfelt, though it develops quickly following Cillian's death, which might feel rushed to some readers. While the romance shines, the suspenseful elements feel predictable and lack the tension to captivate. Though it can seem overdramatic at times, the emotional journey and themes of trust, resilience, and second chances make this book.

This book was a pleasant surprise.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, as it was a quick read and a good time.

Give it a chance- itβs a good story. I almost abandoned it because I wasnβt buying into the story at the beginning. Jerk fiancΓ©e, but still heβs dead. Phoebe am has loved him since they were kids. That should take some time to get over, so I was not loving the romance setup. It didnβt ring true to me even though, to be fair, the author set it up in a logical way.
I stuck with it though and realized I was invested in knowing what was going to happen. Plus- the setting is great.

I really want to love this book. I did love the romance however I felt it just dragged on with the plot. If it wasnβt one thing it was another, and to me it was pretty predictable. The characters are relatable, and I did enjoy them. It is a good book, but not one I would pickup for a reread.

I didn't have much time to read this. I was very busy but I loved the characters of what I did read. I apologize for having too many arcs at the same time it's hard to keep up.

Phoebe has a lot going for her. She's an accomplished artist and is engaged to a high profile rockstar. But all that falls apart when she catches her fiance in flagrante. It's devastating to Phoebe who didn't even suspect, and things come to a tragic end for her fiance and her relationship with the band. But Axel, the drummer seems to always be there for Phoebe and it's clear to see the start of something here. Tensions arise when Phoebe is blamed for the accident via social media. There are secrets that come out after the accident and there is a bit of suspense.
There were parts of this story that I liked, and other parts that didn't quite work for me. There were slow spots throughout, and there were many times the characters had me always thinking... "why is he/she doing that?" Because of this, I'm rating it three stars.

"Not Another Rockstar" is a romantic suspense novel by Kate Callaghan that follows Phoebe Fletcher, an artist whose life is overturned after her rockstar fiancΓ©'s tragic accident. Facing false accusations and intense media scrutiny, Phoebe seeks refuge with her exβs and her brotherβs band, the Brothers of Anarchy. There, she forms a connection with the drummer, Axel Adler, leading them into a complex web of fame and forbidden love.
I loved the plot from beginning to end, and the suspense was so gripping that it made this book truly unputdownable. The characters are engaging, and even the side characters add depth to the story. The chemistry between the two main characters was incredible, making me even more hooked.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a captivating romance filled with suspense, angst, and sizzling chemistry.

Thanks to Netgalley for the eARC. This one wasnβt for me. I struggled to get through this one. I didnβt like how quickly the main character moved on from someone she has loved her whole life. Suspense was good at times but other time I felt like it dragged.

This book was a pleasant surprise for me, as it is not a genre I usually read. However, I was amazed at how much I enjoyed it. The characters were wonderful, though I would have liked to delve a bit deeper into their stories. The mystery and intrigue of the plot are engaging enough to keep you hooked, and I think the ending is well-executed. While some twists may be a bit predictable, this does not take away from how well the story unfolds, making for a very satisfying read. Overall, it exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely recommend it.

Thank you to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for the ARC
The feeeeeeels. All the feels! This was such a surprise. I found it so enjoyable and enthralling. The mystery aspect was really good and levitated the romance for me. Everything became much more tense and that brought out the emotional spectrum. The romance was great and the charcaters were just as fantastic

Not Another Rockstar was an intense and emotional read that definitely kept me hooked. Phoebeβs struggle with the aftermath of her fiancΓ©βs tragic accident and the media frenzy surrounding her was compelling and raw. I really liked the chemistry between her and Axelβthere was a lot of tension and undeniable connection, but I did find their relationship a bit predictable at times. The plot had some great moments of suspense and drama, but I felt like some of the twists couldβve been developed more. Overall, itβs an engaging romantic suspense with a few bumps along the way!
