I dearly love The Crossroads Cafe and MacBrides series. This so sweet but so short look into these worlds has made my yearning for Gus MacBride and Lucy Parmenter's book sharpen acutely. I feel as if I've been waiting years, which I have, but nothing makes me miss the stories Deborah Smith tells like reading them. I am going to have to go back and re-read the series.

And I must also say, I love the Apple Pie Knights. I want, no need, for them to get what they need. It breaks my heart to read about what they've been through and what they need and how badly they've been let down.
