Bob the boo-boo draws a parallel to the Littlest Hobo, Bob is on the road looking for (adventure) a new place to settle down. On every stop Bob will make a new friend. Bob the boo-boo will only join you for a while as your boo-boo heals until Bob keeps moving on.
Kids get boo-boo's, so they'll relate. Kids love colourful bandages, so they'll love that. Talking boo-boo's/scabs are a little out there, but so are kids.

A super cute book about an adorable boo-boo who finds a home on a scraped knee. My kiddo loved the quirky story and illustrations, so I'll definitely grab it when it hits stores!
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC ❤️

I was unsure on what to think about this book! haha. A book about a boo-boo?! My son saw this cover and immediately asked if we could read it. I'm so glad my request went through!
This is basically about a boo-book trying to find a place to live. He finds the perfect kid that's been hurt and then he slowly gets better. In my opinion, it's to make boo-boo's seem less scary! The illustrations were awesome and my kid loved this one. He asked me if we could buy it. :) I think that tells you everything you need to know!!

What a unique book. Children will love the story and empathize with Bob the boo-boo. The illustrations are lovely. Thank you Kids Can Press and NetGalley for the e-copy. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

What a sweet book to read to a child when they get hurt. I really enjoyed this one and smiled all through it. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the advanced copy of this book. All thoughts are my own.

This book was very good. The kids loved reading about bob the boo-boo and all his concerns and adventures. They loved that he found a friend and eventually the boo boo healed but he was loved while he was there. They loved learning how to care for theirselves.

Bob the Boo-Boo by Mélina Schoenborn is a delightful story about a boo-boo who finds a sweet little boy. The premise is so adorable that you almost wouldn't mind getting a boo-boo yourself! This book, aimed at children aged 3-6, tackles the common childhood experience of getting hurt and the process of healing, but in a gentle and whimsical way. Schoenborn's writing has a lovely cadence that's perfect for reading aloud at home or during story time. The illustrations by Sandra Dumais bring Bob and the little boy to life with playful artwork. The emotions she conveys through a boo-boo speak volumes about her talent. I have a feeling this is one of those books that children will remember fondly as adults. It's definitely going on my list for children's story hour!

I loved this book!! Bob is an adorable little "boo-boo" who is searching for someone to help-I love how he asks "Can I be your boo-boo?'.. It would be perfect to read to a child who got hurt and is afraid of getting a wound cleaned or needs help expressing his emotions-I love how the book tells the story from Bob's point of view-even the boo boo needs some TLC too!

Thank you for granting me access to this ARC.
What an adorable book about the inevitable downfalls (pun intended) of childhood— a boo-boo. Putting a positive and funny spin on something that hurts and upsets kids is so smart. Bob is cute and lovable and just wants to be taken care of. Job well done on this! The illustrations are adorable too.

Cute. Adorable. Illustrations are amazing.
My son and I read this at bedtime and he loves it. He said he likes the part where Bob was getting cleaned and a band-aid was put on.
Thank you NetGalley and to the publisher Kids Can Press for the ARC.

This picture book was such a sweet way to explain a boo-boo. As a teacher, my students tell me they have boo-boos all the time, and I console them, give them a bandaid, and kiss their boo-boos (by way of a kiss on my finger and a tap on their bandaids). I would love to start the year off by reading this book to my students so they know that their boo-boos are harmless. I really liked this book! I think kids will love it, as well.

Thank you kids can press and Netgalley for the ARC in exchange of an honest review.
Bob the boo boo was a good book, especially when it is so difficult to make kids understand what injuries mean. This will help parents when they want their kids to know more about boo boo. That it's normal to fall sometime and get a boo boo.
My kid loved it. Thank you for the ARC once again.

OMG, this book is so darn cute. I love it for both home and the classroom. It's sure to bring a smile to children's faces everywhere.

Thank you for the ARC. This was such a cute book with cute illustrations. My son enjoyed listening to it and looking at the pictures.

This is a fun book to help little kids learn about boo boos. My four year old loved Bob and enjoyed watching his journey. This is an amazing way to let kids know that boo boos aren’t bad or scary and won’t last forever.

This children’s picture book is a cute story of Bob and The Boy. The illustrations are colorful and fun. If you have a child that gets a lot of boo-boos get this story to read together!

My two year old son loved this book!
The illustrations are very cute and were easy for my toddler to comment on.
The story focusses on Bob who is a Boo-Boo looking for a new home. He finds a home on a boy’s knee. After time together and learning about healing a wound, the Boo-Boo is gone. This helped my son have a better understanding of healing and to not be afraid of it.

This is a very cute picture book about a boo-boo, but it's also a nice introduction to healing that won't frighten kids. The pictures are simple and adorable. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this

This is a cute book. I have never seen a book about a boo boo, so I was intrigued. The pictures of the variety of bandaids definitely added to the book in a positive way since all kids are obsessed with band aids! My suggestion for the book would be to have the illustrator add a helmet to the child on the skate board.

My 3yo enjoyed this book, it started out a little shaky, I was wondering where it was going but then it delivered a story of a boy with a boo boo who has a mom who cared for his boo boo until it went away. Thank you Netgalley for the ARC
