Another quick and easy read. I was hooked from the beginning and read this in one sitting. It was so good and I did not guess who was involved at the end!

ARC received from NetGalley 4.5 stars
Wowsers , I could not put his book down .
The Baby Swap had me captivapted right from the start .
the twist at the end was not what i had expected.
looking forward to more books by this author

This book reminded of a recent Tv drama that i have enjoyed.
it is a well told story filled with twists and there are plenty of surprises.
I loved my reading time and the intrigue kept me on my toes. Its brilliant ..

Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for arc of the baby swap I love it, it was fast paced loved the characters and the story line and plot just everything I will be buying when it comes out 5 stars

I had a hard time deciding who to root for in this book. Both women were flawed and had done some bad things. I felt the ending was unfortunate, as no one came out on top. There was no redemption for anyone.

Many thanks to netgalley, the author and bookouture for approving my request to read this book.
I love, love, loved this book! I thankfully started reading it on my day off-I honestly could not put this twisted psychological thriller down and finished it in a few hours.
I have read a fair few of Daniel's books and I personally think this is his best one yet, I was riveted from start to finish and what an ending!
5 very well deserved stars for this book from me.

I have a real soft spot for Daniel Hurst and was excited to read the Baby Swap - starting, quite literally with a baby swap. The question though, why did Jade swap the babies? what is the history between these two women? who is Avril really? who is the bad guy?!
It was a wild ride, I still could not tell you who the villain in this story was - everyone was as bad as each other. Lots of twists, including one final twist when you thought it was all over. Daniel is a master of a dramatic thriller and I enjoyed every chapter of this exciting book.

This was hands down the best book I have read in a long time. I read a lot and love Daniel Hurst. This book was everything I wanted it to be and so much more. It starts with two women delivering babies and one of them switching hers for the others, just like the title. As a mom, I struggled with how anyone could ever give up their child for another, but Daniel Hurst did a great job of keeping you guessing. The book goes back and forth between the lives of these two women. Avril is used to getting what she wants and doing it without a care of how others will feel. I kept thinking that I knew how this would end and then I was completely blindsided by the end. We have already ordered a copy for my library and I am also recommending we order it for the Libby App. I need more books from Daniel Hurst. Thank you NetGalley & Daniel Hurst for allowing me to preview The Baby Swap.

Wow and it's books like this is why Daniel Hurst is one of my favourite authors!! This book is amazing you really felt for both parties but it was the Epilogue at the end that made the book ๐ thank you Netgallery for letting me read this early another fantastic book. Definitely 10 ๐ and highly recommend ๐

Oh when I see a Daniel Hurst book I know I am in for a ride, this is him getting back to his best. It is a shortish story and I read it in an afternoon. I just had to keep going and find out how the bizarreness of this story would play out and I wasn't disappointed. You got so involved in the story and you couldnt believe either women would do what they did but then emotions get involved and it all goes a bit bonkers. Just loved it and the ending was pure Daniel Hurst.

I thought this was an easy read. I finished it within a day. I really enjoyed reading it. I definitely did not expect the twist. I would definitely recommend others to read too!

I'm always excited to read a new Daniel Hurst book and this was no exception! I admit that I didn't even read the premise and jumped right into it. I thought I knew where the story is going - baby swapping, and the aftermath, and for a while the story was the usual as expected. Not taking away from the good pacing and writing style that I enjoy from the author.. However I was definitely not expecting a couple of twists in the last few chapters - they definitely threw me for a loop in a good way! I couldn't wait to find out more and I enjoyed the satisfying ending of the story.
Definitely recommend!
Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

"The Baby Swap" by Daniel Hurst was a quick, mildly suspenseful read.
The story revolves around Jade and Avril, two women whose complicated history casts a dark shadow. When Jade realizes that her maternity roommate is the very woman she feels wronged her in the past, she quickly seizes the opportunity to exact her revenge.
While the premise of the story is intriguing, the character development and plotting that could have elevated the story falls somewhat short, lacking the depth necessary to keep me fully engaged.
Despite these shortcomings, "The Baby Swap" was an enjoyable read that offered just enough tension for a brief escape.
Thank you to Daniel Hurst, Bookouture, and NetGalley for providing me the advanced readerโs copy to read and review.

Thank you to: Bookouture & NetGalley for this ARC ebook by Daniel Hurst

โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ Wow!! I may have a book hangover after this one (in a good way). Daniel Hurst is once again a genious!!
The Baby Swap starts out with suspense right from the jump in the Prologue & didnt stop until the Epilogue (& oh what an Epilogue).
I wanted to root against the villian but honestly, who even is the villian?
This book had me flipping pages so fast & couldnt put it down.
This book is set with multiple POV's & was so gripping with so many twists & turns that you don't see coming.
I would highly recommend this book as a 5โญ๏ธ read.
Well done Daniel Hurst for continuing to create these thrillers that keep us on our toes.
Once again, thank you @NetGalley! & Bookouture for the opportunity to read this advanced copy.ย

Daniel Hurst is a master of the psychological thriller. I loved this story and could not put it down. There was at least 3 twists in this book that I did not see coming and Iโm usually good at predicting the twist! 5*

I received an ARC of this book, and this is my honest, unbiased review. I loved the premise. I really felt for Jade and the way Avril treated her. Even after Avril "won" and had the upper hand, she didnโt stop there, which set the whole revenge plot into motion. The story had me on the edge of my seat, and I read it all in one sitting. The final twist caught me off guard, and the ending was unexpected.
Throughout the book, I thought it might have been possible for them to switch their baby back, avoiding prison altogether. However, I understand there wouldnโt be much of a story if it were that easy, though this point wasnโt addressed.
All in all, it was a decent read. 4 stars.

When you pick up a Daniel Hurst thriller, you know you're in for a good time. However, you may not realize that many of his books are not just 'popcorn thrillers' but have plots that feature a moral dilemma presented in an entertaining way.
Avril and Jade are two very different women. Avril works a demanding job in the cosmetics industry and is married to Bobby, who dotes on her. Jade was blacklisted from her dream job market and doesn't have a partner, just the occasional one-night stand, but these women have one thing in common...they've both just given birth.
What would make one woman even think of, much less actually pulling off, a baby swap? Well, reader, you're going to find that these women have a little more in common than I led you to believe. Wild, fun, and filled with unexpected twists, THE BABY SWAP is expected to release on February 19, 2025. Thank you to Bookouture for the early copy.

The plot is one that hasn't been done before! It's extremely exciting! Imagine swapping your new born baby with another one. That is exactly what she does. I like how developed the characters are and how things are revealed at a even pace. The plot was so thrilling that I could not turn away from the book.

Thank you Bookouture and NetGalley for this ARC. When Avril finally goes into labor with her baby, her family dream finally comes true, and what Avril wants is what Avril gets; successful career, great husband and beautiful house. Jade a woman barely scrapping by is in the next bed giving birth to her own baby. Why is one of the women switching the babies? As we delve in the history of these women, how far will they go for revenge? Total fast paced book with many twists along the way.

This book is fast paced without feeling rushed! It has strong writing and unpredictable plot. While I found a few moments where certain events didnโt feel entirely realistic, I still enjoyed this book and would recommend it! Itโs such an easy read that will suck you right in. โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ
