I thought this book was a lot of fun. The date with the lobster (iykyk) was HILARIOUS! Good heat.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this arc in exchange for an honest review!

Really enjoyed this book! A fun romcom with heart, humor, and heat. The writing carries emotional depth and her writing has grown from book to book. Love this series and cannot wait for more!

She dresses as Gollum to make him break up with her. Need I say more? I enjoyed the latter part of the book more. It being the How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days part.

It was the first book of Brittany Kelley and I think I found the new top for me!
I really loved this book! The story was fast paced. The banter and jokes - top notch! The book is very light, optimistic and very refreshing.
Grumpy and sunshine is written very well in this story, I really enjoyed it.
I love good old fake dating! Romance was really great! Abby and Luke are goals. The mutual pinning, attraction and tension between characters was fantastic.
The book is vibing with How to loose a guy in 10 days and I absolutely loved it! One of my fav comedy of 90s and the flashes were great!
Also there is the feeling like in Ted Lasso series, so cute and heartwarming.
I highly recommend to dive into this book and enjoy it to everyone!
Main tropes:
Fake dating
Grumpy vs Sunshine
He falls first
Miscommunication line
Thank you NetGalley and Berkley Romance for this great ARC!

Brittany Kelley’s Relationship Goals is a fiery, laugh-out-loud sports romance that delivers the perfect blend of fake dating, revenge, and undeniable chemistry. When Hollywood starlet Abigail Hunt learns that soccer heartthrob Luke Wolfe was forced into their relationship for PR, she turns the tables with a deliciously petty plan to make him suffer—only to realize he just might be playing for keeps. Packed with witty banter, sizzling tension, and emotional depth, this novel is a winning play for fans of grumpy/sunshine pairings, revenge plots gone wrong (or oh-so-right), and romance that feels as exhilarating as a last-minute goal.

First of all, thank you to NetGalley and Berkley Romance( I <3 you!!) for a copy of an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Now that that's over,
BRITTANY KELLEY!!!! YOU!! DID!!! THAT!!!!
This is a first for me for this author and I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED. I along with some of the other reviews didn't realize this wasn't a debut novel and that she in fact has a backlog and its about to hit my Kindle PROMPTLY. This story is absolutely how to lose a guy in 10 days coded and provided such a refreshing read. I'm so used to reading dark, sad romance lately that this was such a quick, nice, easy pick me up read that I devoured in a few hours.
Now this book follows our FMC Abigail Hunt, an actress in a rut (to put it nicely) who had a hit of a tv show but after a crash and burning of bridges from people on that show, mixed with one awkward interview that left her blackballed but not blackballed in Hollywood, she is shadowing the director of a pro soccer team to prepare for her upcoming role. She is blunt, laugh out loud funny, and says exactly what's on her mind. She is SO ADHD coded, and I clocked it immediately from one ADHD gal to another!! She jumps right in her first day ready to learn all she could, and in walks our grumpy pro soccer player Luke Wolfe to give her the first tour of the facility; but not by choice.
Our man with a plan, Luke Wolfe. He is portrayed as a grump MMC but he quickly shows me what is beneath that hard exterior he shows everyone else. Their relationship begins quick, and hot, Luke asking Abby out the same day he meets her, but not for the reason she thinks. He was coerced into asking her out with someone else holding a bargaining chip over his head, but what happens when Luke really does want something with our unfiltered Abigail? And how does she react when she finds out? Non spoiler- not good LOL.
Abby after finding out wants nothing but pure sweet revenge, but the satisfaction of having him dump her; but come to find out Luke is the most patient man in the world, and loves her even more after all her antics. That's all I'll say, but there definitely is some left to be desired in the book and I can't spoil it for you because what fun would that be?!
oh AND the side characters?! I can already feel the series following this book, and I don't know if with her, but I just need to make a special shoutout to Lauren. She sounds like my kind of pilates teacher. if you know you know.
Enjoy fellow readers! Good luck!

Brittany Kelley is one of my favorite authors so I JUMPED at the chance to read and review this one. This one was super hilarious and had the great banter that I love and adore.

I am a Brittany Kelley stan for life (and a little biased since Lauren the Pilates instructor was named after me 💅🏻) BUT this was so fkn funny.
I laughed so hard while also having all the feels because How to Lose a Guy in 10 days is one of my FAVE movies and this captured those vibes so well.

First I want to give a big Thank you to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing providing this e-book, in exchange for my honest review.
I gotta be honest I’ve never heard of Brittany Kelley before. Honestly, I thought this was her debut novel. Come to find out she’s published several books before Relationship Goals. Which means after this review I get to go binge her other books. Anyway back to the book at hand, Relationship Goals. I was pitched as this is a sports romance meets “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days”. Let me tell you I was immediately sold since I’m a sucker for both of those things.
Relationship Goals is a laugh out loud, adorable romance that I can picture anyone enjoying. Our MFC Abigail is an actress that’s shadowing our MMC Lukes soccer team in preparation for an upcoming role. Luke is forced to not only give Abigail a tour, he’s also being forced to date her by the team owners so he can get placed on the trade list so he can go back to Seattle to take care of sick mom. But instead of it remaining game a real relationship starts to form between them but Abigail has no idea about the position Luke has been placed in. Once she finds out chaos and hijinks ensue.
Before I go any further I want to preface that I did really enjoy this book. Several scenes had my cackling (specifically the Gollum & Lobster scene) However, even though those scenes were hilarious I absolutely hate how our characters got placed in that position. My hatred for the miscommunication trope is no secret. And that trope was out in full force. If the trope hadn’t been used I would’ve given this book 5 stars, but because of how it was executed I have to ding it one Star. I wish our leads would’ve just talked to each other and saved themselves all the angst and turmoil.
Even if with all of that said. I highly recommend this book. It was a super easy, fast paced romance that anyone could enjoy. Please check this book out when it gets released this July!

Thanks for the advanced copy of this book! I really enjoyed the story and it came across at a good pace! I loved that MMC was similar to Roy Kent from Ted Lasso and he is my favorite character! This book would be great for those who love a good sports romance

Thank you to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing Group for providing this book, with my honest review below.
I love a good comedic romance, which is exactly what Relationship Goals was. Easy and light at first, Abigail and Luke, our leads, do veer into more serious territory but the overall tone (helped by some stellar supporting characters) is one that is fun with a lot of sweet and spicy to hook romance lovers.
Starting with a great premise, Abigail is learning as much as she can about soccer in preparation of a film role that would change the trajectory of her career coming off a very famous series she’s been accused of tanking due to her inability to filter her thoughts before she speaks. It’s either kill this or kill her career. Meanwhile Luke, who has been tasked with giving her a tour, is also secretly assigned the job of dating her to bring attention to his team - if he wants to be able to get scooped up by a team in Seattle to be closer to his sick mother. Independent of that the two get close and a real relationship with real love is budding, until Abigail finds out that Luke had agreed to publicly date her because of his orders. From there we get some very fun hijinks as Abigail tries to get Luke to suffer (and confess) for his lies, and Luke just falls deeper in love. All of this is a lot of fun but through the hijinks Abigail doesn’t know about Luke’s motivation (or believe that he really cares for her) and Luke recognizes Abigail has some very real anxiety problems but can’t seem to get through in helping her.
I loved this spin on How to Lose a Guy in Ten Dates combined with the heart of the story in the love and care these two truly have for each other. And the whistleblower storyline that is the focus of the movie Abigail is making comes to life in a very interesting way I won’t spoil. Hopefully, based on some signs I’m possibly reading too much into, we get a series from this book!

I enjoyed this book but didn't love it. The MMC has Roy Kent vibes. I wish he'd been a little sooner to explain the fake dating thing, but overall still cute. I'm interested in reading the next in the series (I'm assuming there will be one.) because I enjoyed their part in this novel.
