I enjoyed this book so much that I read it in two sessions. It was a very interesting look inside the social media craze of shiny and glossy on the outside and icky and dark inside. I will say, I DID NOT see the twist coming and I was BLOWN away!! I will be pressing this book into my friends hands as soon as it is out!! Soooo Good!!

This was a great read that really translated well to the page, interesting characters and a thrilling intrigue. Ran through it in a few hours fully recommend

Excellent book, well written.
Influencers and the mixed messages they give out come to a head in this book. Real page turner of a novel.
Thank you Netgalley for letting me read this book.

An entertaining book, which successfully satirises influencer culture. The story is well-plotted, although the characters are rather cliched (perhaps deliberately so to reflect the fake world of influencers?).

I knew nothing of what Tradwives were before reading this book, so I had to look it up 🙈🤣 but wow, did this story blow my mind!
It was both fascinating and disturbing reading this and I can honestly say there were twists here that I did not see coming! I had an eerie feeling throughout because you just know something is really wrong with the setup in that house, and boy did I gasp when those dark secrets started coming to light!
It was cleverly written with a great amount of suspense and thrills to keep the reader invested. Did we really need Callys pov? Not really tbh, but apart from that, I really enjoyed this.

This book surprised me! It was a little slow at the start, but the book itself ended up being pretty good! I rarely feel like psychological thrillers can catch me off-guard with the plot twists, but this one got me. It wasn't a predictable ending, which I enjoyed. There were parts of the book where the plot felt a bit confusing to me, but overall it was a good read.
I think that the characters were really well-written and complex. Personally, Lori was my favorite character. I did not think that I would enjoy this book as much as I did, and I look forward to reading more of Liane's work!

I really enjoyed this book!
There’s so much tradwife content online at the minute, and I’m genuinely eating it up (if Nara Smith makes it, I will watch the video, I don’t care how ridiculous it is). So when I saw this book that’s about a tradwife’s dark secrets I was SOLD.
Madison is one of the most complicated characters I’ve ever read about - I reached the end of the book and genuinely still didn’t know if I liked her or not. Did I just feel sorry for her maybe? Unclear.
This story had me guessing until the very last minute - I loved how there was so much uncertainty about how the two stories (Brianna’s and Madison’s) really linked, and I felt there was a really good level of tension throughout. Lori was a really interesting character - it became obvious early on that things weren’t as they seemed, but there was enough intrigue to really grip me into the story and want to know what her deal was! I wasn’t really certain that Cally’s character was necessary, and that’s my main criticism, but the rest? Chef’s kiss - amazing!
I think there were a couple of moments when the characters used phrases which seemed sort of out of character for them, and that did sort of affect my reading experience. Particularly using phrases that do come across as more British-English than American-English, which is a little jarring in a book that’s really heavy on ‘traditional American values’. That aside, the author did a great job of really dropping us on the homestead and getting us invested in the outcomes.
Overall a really great book - absolutely recommend to thriller lovers!
Huge thanks to HQ and NetGalley for the digital copy in exchange for my honest views.

Thankyou NetGalley & HQ digital for this arc copy,
This book showcases the true nature of being a traditional wife in a digital social media world. I found myself immersed in this book and felt like I knew the character madison as a real life influencer that you see on Instagram and TikTok. The hunger and need for attention and from fans and social media as she tries to showcase a picture perfect life that everyone would crave to have although she has hidden secrets that would make her whole world crumble. I did find a few things predictable however I did enjoy the different pov from the main characters.

Madison March, a popular social media influencer and self-proclaimed tradwife, appears to lead a picturesque life on her Montana homestead farm with her husband, Michael, and their four children. Her online persona showcases a domestic bliss of homemade meals, homeschooling, and traditional American values, captivating her massive following of ten million. However, when newcomer Cally arrives as a tutor, she uncovers a disturbing reality hidden behind Madison's flawless facade. Bound by a non-disclosure agreement and harboring secrets of her own, Cally remains tight-lipped about Madison's true life.

This book is right up my street, all about the secrets behind tradwives Instagram. It's put together really well & I enjoyed the storyline, there are plenty of little twists to keep you reading. Definitely a 5 star book, I loved it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Madison March, a social media influencer and tradwife, lives with her husband, Michael, and their four children, Myron, Matilda, Molly and Mason, on a homestead farm in Montana. If her social media posts are to be believed, Madison spends her days cooking homemade meals, homeschooling her children and promoting all-American values to her ten million followers. Madison is an inspiration to many, including Brianna, who strives to be a good tradwife herself.
But behind the façade of Madison’s perfect life, is a reality that no one would dream of living, as newly employed tutor, Cally, discovers upon her arrival. But Cally has had to sign a non-disclosure agreement and has secrets of her own, so she has no intention of revealing Madison’s secrets.
Narrated through the viewpoints of the three women – Madison, Cally and Brianna, The Tradwife’s Secret deftly explores themes of the underbelly of social media, motherhood and domestic abuse. An original, fast-paced and compelling psychological thriller with twists that will give you whiplash.

This was crazy good, it's super good. I let it all-in-one night. Good. I don't know a whole lot about #tradwife- but madison is the queen of them, the queen of the tradwives on instagram- but as was anything on social media, things are a little bit different behind the lens- madison has her perfect life with her four perfect children and her perfect husband living in her perfect log home in montana-- madison, who's in charge of her empire, but someone who is always nipping at her heels to trying to take away her crown. So she's got to come up with new content all the time, and so one step ahead of her husband while still being the trade wife she is there's a lot of secrets in madison's life from who really teaches the children to her perfect husband to what happened in her past this book has a lot of secrets, a lot of twists and turns and kept me guessing until it all clicked almost all the way through. But it's so good, definitely.Definitely recommend definitely worth it
Thank you net galley, for the arc.In exchange for an honest review

Thank you so much to NetGalley and the publishers for this eARC!!
From the moment I started reading this book I was drawn in! I read this in less than a day!! The twist and turns in this book left me SHOOK!!!! This will keep you guessing till the very end!!
Will ABSOLUTELY be recommending this to everyone!!!

Madison March does it all. She’s an influencer, a tradwife who cooks and cleans and raises her 4 children, she’s someone many want to be. Behind the scenes Madison has a team of social media professionals, cooks, cleaners, and she’s just hired a new tutor for the children.
I found this novel gripping, while I couldn’t really understand any of Madison’s decisions or her willingness to be controlled by a man, I did enjoy Cally the new tutor, seeing this world for the first time and her opinions on the tradwife/homestead.
The writing is clever, you can read this book and agree with the morals of Madison or read it and be appalled, either way you won’t put it down until you have finished it.
A book for those who like a bit of TikTok or instagram and wonder what is really going on behind the scenes. A fast ride.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this eARC in return for an honest review which this is.

Read and reviewed in exchange for a free copy from Netgalley. I really enjoyed this book. It was an excellent take on the dark side of influencers, and while I felt Cally's story was not fleshed out enough, the three strands of the story were weaved together well. The story was engaging, twisty, and unpredictable. A great read, and I look forward to more by this author.

Oh, this is fun.
Our characters are jaw-droppingly toxic. Even the nicer ones (few and far between), are toxic in their own ways. Lord save me from being around any one of them in real life!
The Tradwife stuff is delicious. I mean, it skewers!
I did find that one character, Cally, was almost completely unnecessary. I mean, except for a bit in the end, you could literally take her out of the book and change almost nothing.
Seriously fun beach read!

Madison March seems to have everything that she could possibly want - marriage to wealthy, attractive man with four beautiful children and a thriving internet influencer role as a traditional wife aka #TradWife.
Except that literally nothing here is what it seems - as Cally, the young tutor engaged to look after Madison's home-schooled children, finds out to her absolute horror.
Not that she can do anything about it. She has her own reasons for being in the March house and has signed a non disclosure agreement that will not allow her to publicly point out the outrageous hypocrisy of the Marchs' lifestyle.
Meanwhile, what Cally doesn't realise is just how much darker Madison's secrets actually are than what she has been able to surmise...
This is an enormously entertaining story with a lot to say about gender roles and the increasingly regressive social trends in parts of America. It also succeeds in keeping the reader guessing, before tying up all the loose ends very neatly at the end. My only gripe was with how far Michael March's ignorance of female biology was pushed, but perhaps even that can be viewed satirically. Overall, highly recommended - I hope to see more books from this author soon!

It’s been a while since a book’s twist left me quite literally SHOOK, and then this one came along!
I requested an ARC copy of this as I was so intrigued by the description, and it didn’t disappoint.
This book is like an episode of the secret lives of Mormon wives on steroids and I absolutely loved it.

The Tradwife's Secret is a fast-paced, can't-put-down thriller that dives into the dramatic and ugly world of social media influencers. Madison March is the most successful tradwife influencer on social media with millions of followers. When Cally is hired to be a tutor for Madison's children, she believes this is an amazing opportunity. Cally has obsessively followed Madison from day one. However, once on the March ranch, Cally realizes that not all is to be believed. After signing a comprehensive NDA and with her own dangerous secrets, Cally is forced to keep her silence as she watches everything she thought was real unravel.
The Tradwife's Secret is told through multiple POVs: Madison, Cally, and aspiring tradwife Briana. The author does a tremendous job of highlighting the differences between Madison and Briana's experiences. Throughout the changing POVs, I truly felt anger, disgust, frustration, hope, understanding, and then . . . shock. There were definitely a few twists I did NOT see coming. I love how the author weaves all of the storylines together. I will absolutely be recommending The Tradwife's Secret to anyone looking for an exciting, gripping, edge-of-your-seat thriller for 2025!

The author let her personal feelings towards a political party take over what could have been a great book. This isn't a story about an influencer, it's a story about the most unbelievably radical right winged men and is filled with political and religious mockery. I understand there's an audience for this, but it should be portrayed honestly so people who aren't looking for someone's political stereotypes shoved down their throat, can pass on this one.
