All My Lies is Nelle Lamarr’s fourth thriller novel. I’ve read them all and they all have been really good! I didn’t want to put this book down! There was a lot of action, mystery and some romance. It definitely kept my attention!

I love a good ‘stolen novel’ thriller, Yellowface and Until I Met Her are two of my favourites, so I was eager to read this one.

Sloan is a PA for a reclusive bestseller author, and when she chances upon an unknown manuscript she takes her chances, setting the rollercoaster in motion. Will she get away away with it? How will she cope with the guilt? Can she write a second book?

It’s very much Sloan’s journey, the suspicion, the guilt and paranoia rather than a true thriller, although there are plenty of twists, risks and dangers on the way.

Nelle Lamar’s style and character writing carries it, full of snarky humour, Sloan’s self doubt and authentic behind the scenes / life of an author details. It’s got a very nice pace and flow.

Special mention to Nelle’s dream team of early / beta readers, when Freida McFadden, Nicola Sanders, Shalini Borland and Miranda Rijks are supporting a book it has to be worth a look.

Overall, it was a lot of fun to read. Recommended.

Barbara sends Sloan out on errands, and when Sloan returns, Barbara is dead. Sloan takes her newest manuscript and passes it off as her own, but her conscience haunts her. She gets threats, and feels as though she is being stalked.

Totally gripping. I was engrossed in this novel and was turning the pages on my kindle like a crazy woman!
It is dark and twisty, creepy, and the reader will feel compelled to find out who the murderer actually was.
But oh, what a surprise ending!! Totally unexpected!

The suspense comes while Sloan is constantly worrying.That she'll be found out who is sending her threatening notes and overcoming a broken wrest that she had in a fall. She also worries That logan is lying about work and is actually having a Affair.

This is a fast Read and a suspensible book, but most of the characters including Sloan.Are unlikable.

I wanted to like it, the plot sounded amazing, but, sadly, it was not what I was expecting. At times it was the same thing all over again - how she was clumsy, how she could not use her left hand, how she was a liar - and then, that twist. I didn't see it coming because it made no sense and it came without enough previous hints.

This was a really good book! I loved the psychological thrill of reading this, and how there were so many secrets unfolding throughout the book. It made me tense reading this book, because I was always on the edge of my seat, waiting to see what was going to happen.

All My Lies is an absolute page turner. From the blurb, I knew I was going to like it but never in a million years did I imagine I would love it so much I'd devour it in a few hours!!

Sloane White is a struggling writer who works as the personal assistant for Barbara Van Wyck, a best-selling author of thriller books who treats her like dirt. On Christmas eve, Sloane goes out to run errands for her and bring back two coffees. Barbara had a fight on the phone with her agent about her next book's pay and deadline, as is expected to pay her a visit later in the day. Sloan runs into Logan, an old childhood friend who's now working as a barista to pay for his college tuition. They are attracted to each other and agree to keep in touch. When Sloan returns to Barbara's home, she finds her slumped dead on her desk. Sloan does what anyone in her position would do and steals her latest manuscript before running away from the scene. She rewrites the manuscript on her computer and buries the original, but she is pushed by someone to the ground and breaks her wrist. Logan takes her to hospital and they start seeing each other, but he breaks her heart when he tells her he's moving to LA having accepted a scholarship. Barbara's death is now being investigated as a murder Sloan rewrites the manuscript and pitches it to agents. #AllMyLies #NetGalley is a definite psychological thriller that kept me reading until the very end.
Sloan always wanted to be a writer, but she struggled to put her words on paper. Working for a well known author seemed like a perfect opportunity, until Sloan discovered the author was rude, harsh and mean.
For 2 years Sloan worked in a small corner of the author's office, hoping things would change, then on a fateful winter morning, Sloan got her wish. The author was dead. Now was her chance to become a writer, but at what price?
I loved this book and the ending was incredibly unexpected.

This had a Rip Roaring start, i was like "This is hilarious and SO good, Let's Gooo!" ...and boy howdy did it Go.
I'm a bit shell shocked at how it could it go from an Amazing 5 Star start and end up as a 1 Star for me. Im gutted to not even be able to honestly give it as much as a 2 Star since it started off SO good! :(
Its main downfall was the crass, i mean cuh-Rass, language that literally made me physically cringe and would normally have been an Immediate perma-dnf if i wasn't stuck into going 100% and giving a review. Im not a fan of unnecessary potty mouth as it is, but this went to a Whole nuther level.
The other killers for me were how it just seemed to come to a screeching halt around the middle and get Chick Lit vibe; then all of a sudden we're in What The Holey Hell territory and yeah, then the epilogue had to ram some more vulgarity in my face.
This had Such good potential! Im exhausted. :(

An excellent read for any and all readers! Author comes at you with both barrels and knocks you out of your shoes! Great job fleshing out all the characters. I give this book FIVE stars! Definitely recommend!
