Hooked from page #1! The story plot was great! That one character made a grit my teeth a few times.... It gave enough detail to keep me hooked without dragging on and on. It kept me wanting more and I was so invested, I would actually fall asleep with my kindle in my hand because I wanted to know what was happening in the next chapter. I can't wait to read more from this author!

All My Lies by Nelle Lamarr is a fast-paced domestic thriller with an intriguing premise, but it struggles to fully deliver on its potential. The story follows a protagonist whose seemingly perfect life begins to unravel as buried secrets come to light. With betrayal, deception, and shocking twists at its core, the book promises a gripping ride—but doesn’t always stick the landing.

The initial setup is strong, drawing you into the protagonist’s world and the mystery surrounding her past. However, the character development feels inconsistent. While the protagonist has moments of depth, many of the supporting characters are one-dimensional, making it difficult to stay fully invested in their fates. The twists are frequent, but some feel predictable or too reliant on coincidence, which diminishes their impact.

The pacing is a highlight, with short, snappy chapters that make it easy to keep turning the pages. Despite this, the ending feels rushed, with important plot threads either resolved too quickly or left hanging. All My Lies is an entertaining read with moments of real tension, but it ultimately falls short of being truly memorable. A solid 3 stars—a decent choice for a quick, light thriller, but it doesn’t stand out in a crowded genre.

New author to me and I was so looking forward to this book. Unfortunately, I just could not get through it. I don't even know what I was reading at one point. So much vulgarity and the main character, totally unrelatable and unlikeable, in my opinion. Definitely not what I was expecting.

What was this? I couldn't even read this, it was so bad. Skimming ahead etc and It was like so out there, I had no desire to read it. Sad because I loved Nelle's last two books!

This is a pacy thriller/ mystery and is very well told.

It has twists and turns and I was gripped from the onset.

It is an intriguing read and unusual plot and I loved how the characters were unveiled the way they were.

This is the second Nelle Lamarr book I’ve read now (Night Nanny being the first) and this author is fast becoming one of my favourites. I love the easy writing, humour and in particular the never ending twists! The ending was very satisfying and although it did remind me of another book I’ve read, very ironic given the storyline, I enjoyed the side story to this one a lot more. Thanks for allowing early access to read this!

I loved the twist in the epilogue! It made the book worth it for me. I found the main character unlikeable and hard to root for, but the twists of this book kept me hooked - I read it one day!

This book wasn't quite what I expected based on the description. Instead of there being a slow reveal of what she did, it's all laid out in the early chapters so we're in on the secret with her. Also there's not a husband until almost half way through the book! Otherwise, I did find the reveals quite predictable, including the epilogue. I also would have avoided the book if I'd known about some trigger warnings. This won't prevent me from trying another one of the Author's books though, as I'm intrigued to see if another will land better with me.

All My Lies was a fast-paced psychological thriller. There were a few grammatical and spelling errors and a few holes in the plot.
With some mild tweaking, All My Lies has the potential to be a fantastic read.I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I went into this book with high expectations. Unfortunately, this one completely missed the mark for me.

The plot felt uninspired, with twists that were far too predictable to be effective. Instead of feeling the suspense or intrigue I had hoped for, I found myself rolling my eyes at the overused clichés. The constant mentions of Ugg boots and hiding things under couch cushions became grating and repetitive, to the point where it distracted me from the story itself.

What frustrated me most, though, was how little this book seemed to offer in terms of originality or emotional connection. While the premise had potential, it felt as though the story never truly got off the ground. The characters felt flat, and the plot lacked the tension or depth that could’ve saved it.

I wanted to like this book, I really did—but it just wasn’t for me. That's why I'm giving it 1 aka 0 ⭐.

I didn't trust anyone.
I thought it was very well written and this is a very talented writer.
The book was wrapped up perfectly and i really enjoyed this story

This book was excellent! From the well-developed characters to the twisty plot line, it kept me guessing and changing my theory the entire time.

This book was really fast paced- clear your day because you will want to keep reading to find out exactly what happened. If you love Freida McFadden books, you’ll also love this book! I thought I had it all figured out, and I did figure out a little but the last twist at the end, whew. I love how everything came together.

I wanted to like this book as I have read Nelle Lamarr’s previous books and enjoyed them. Unfortunately for me this was a big miss. It was predictable and the twists I was like really? At times it was repetitive I got fed up of hearing about Ugg boots and hiding things under couch cushions. I think this book just wasn’t for me as I have said I liked the authors other books. Don’t let my review put you off reading this as I’m sure this book will shock people throughout.

Thanks, NetGalley. The book was fast-paced and I finished it. Unfortunately there were too many repetitive and unbelievable plot points (Who can scan, edit, and rewrite an entire novel in just a few hours? And she hid ev-er-y-thing under seat cushions. All her seating must have been very lumpy.), a couple of holes (What happened with the typewriter cartridge?), as well as a few spelling/grammatical errors (e.g. "incinerator shoot" instead of "chute" and "barefoot" instead of "bare foot"). I also knew exactly where the story was going, especially the (I presume) "shocking" epilogue. Also two of the characters, including one of the "good guys", were rapists.

Thank you to Netgalley for ARC of this book that I absolutely LOVED. This was a real page turner that kept me guessing the whole way as character after character was introduced, all of whom seemed extremely suspicious or connected to the murder of one of the characters in the plot. Right up to the very last page there was new information being told that tied all the loose ends together in such a surprising way. The author was humorous and I loved the “inside voice” of the main character, Sloan and how she would think something before speaking that was often quite amusing. The author was brilliant in the style of writing and I am looking forward to reading others written Nelle Lamarr in the future.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. It felt like a bit of a slow burn at first, but the author still kept me entertained and captivated with the way she wrote, the witty personality of the main character Sloane, and by giving us just enough subtle clues as to what might come later. I had so many theories in my head about who was behind everything and at the end, everything was explained and tied together!

I originally requested to read this book because I liked the book cover; I was not expecting much but I did enjoy reading it more than I expected! I would definitely recommend others to read too!
