Giant Baby! is a humorous story about a baby having a romp throughout the city as his parents sleep. From one day to the next, a baby grows so quickly, especially busting out of his/her/their clothing so this was a funny adventure of how they manage to break free from the confines of their onesie. The illustrations were larger than life as Giant Baby makes everything a plaything. But when his parents realize that they need to check on him, he returns home to his bed—smaller but yet, bigger than before.

A fun story about the dreamy adventures of Ezra and the fun (and scary) parts of growing up. Ezra’s parents live him and can’t believe how big he’s getting…little do they know he’s about to go on GIANT adventures. Lots of fun sounds and great illustrations. I do think that the story has extra words and the dialogue between mom and dad seems choppy but otherwise a great story for growing kids!

What a fun book for storytime! Lots of moments for interaction with the story!

I read the story through the NetGalley Reader. The book loaded beautifully.

However, I did experience a formatting(?) issue--- I do not know if it is just the digital format--- but the text on the pages that is in the dark part is difficult to read.

Such a cute story of a baby who somehow grows into a giant and goes out for a night on the town in NYC-he meets new friends, explores new places and sees new things. If you live in the city, this would be a cute book for your students/children to relate to with the tall buildings, fountains and bridges.

A cute kid's book about a baby that grows to be about the size of Godzilla, and he goes out exploring the city, until he realizes he is alone and goes back to the comfort of his crib and the safety of his parents. Nice illustrations, too!!

An infant boy named Ezra overhears his parents talk about how big he’s getting and then dreams of growing into a giant baby overnight. Ezra then goes on to paint the town red like a kinder, gentler Godzilla. I loved every page, and Liz Rosenberg’s illustrations provided the perfect zany homage to every Godzilla movie.

In the interest of full disclosure, I received this book from NetGalley and Marble Press in exchange for an honest review.

A quick read for toddlers and preschoolers. Ezra grew so quickly, he bent his crib rails and had to struggle to get out of his room. This baby continued to grow and traveled through town playing with "toys" and enjoying the night. Then he realized he was lost and had to find his way back home to his parents and dog. He barely made it back to his crib before his parents checked on him. Readers will appreciate the humor as they learn about comparisons - big and little. The illustrations capture the fun and contrasts.

Ezra becomes a giant baby, stomping around the streets of New York. He is fascinated by everything he sees, and boldly continues his journey throughout the city. When he gets to Midtown, however, the gravity of his situation settles in and he realizes he is all alone in a strange place, crying, he rushes home to his crib, sure to make it before mom and dad realize he was gone.

This is a cute book with inviting illustrations. I would recommend it to caretakers looking for a fun bedtime story.

I read a lot of children's books but this one just wasn't my favorite. I think the author is trying to be whimsical about why parents say that their baby seems to have grown overnight but there seems to be a subtext about the baby leaving the crib and the house for the night and having adventures. I guess it would be ok for an older kid that knows better but I worry a little that we're giving a 3 year old the idea that she should get up and roam around and do what she wants at night. Maybe I'm taking the book a little too seriously but honestly, my first thought was...please don't encourage my kid to get out of his bed! We need bedtime stories that encourage sleep...not nighttime adventures! Also what's with these goofy parents...their baby is crying and it takes them 15 minutes to get there? It's long enough for the kid to reverse his route through all his adventure locations before his parents come to him.

Hey, the baby was giant! Sometimes you read books about giant this or massive that and feel sort of shortchanged, but not here! A quick, pleasing read.

Kid review: it was good. It was scary when the baby was alone. My question is, how did the baby get back so fast and get small?

Mum review: this was a nicely illustrated story about a baby's adventure in the city. It has a lot of sound words that might be fun for the right reader. It wasn't a huge hit for us; fine but not memorable. I can imagine that it may strike a chord for some and become a beloved favourite.

I totally understand that writing a children’s book is not easy. Having the right voice that will appeal to kids and parents, as well as finding a top notch illustrator, make it a challenge. That being said, I’m not a huge fan of the new picture book, Giant Baby! Although the pictures are beautiful, the story doesn’t hit the mark for me. Unfortunately it was a bit boring, which may make it difficult to hold a young child’s attention.

Such a sweet book about a baby who is growing and goes on a night time adventure, until he realizes he's too far away from his parents.
My kids loved the STOMP STOMPs and thoroughly enjoyed the images and colors.
