I thought this was very good and I will have to add this to the shop shelves. Thank you for the chance for us to review.

"Eight Nights to Win Her Heart" by Miri White serves up a delightful Chanukah romance with a charming meet-cute that perfectly sets the tone for this heartwarming story. The tale follows Andie Williams and Leo Dentz, neighbors whose paths intertwine over the festival of lights, sparking a connection that illuminates their lives during a season of miracles. Andie, grappling with the loss of her father and a potential cross-country move, and Leo, a hard-of-hearing hero with a long-held crush, navigate their evolving relationship through the eight nights of Chanukah. Their journey is filled with personal growth and sweet moments, making each candle they light a step closer to understanding their hearts' true desires. This book is a delightful read that perfectly captures the spirit of the holiday and the warmth of newfound love, although the quick development of their relationship leaves you wishing for a few more nights to see it deepen further.
It was a lovely solid romance read and just what I needed while on a work trip.

I loved this Hanukkah themed romance novel, it was a great change to the usual Christmas holiday romances. The premise was so cute and sweet. It had you rooting for everything to work out! I loved the growth the characters showed and would definitely love more stories from that group of characters!
The narration was well done and I would listen to more by this Narrator.
Thank you to Netgalley for the audio copy in exchange for an honest review.

I was really looking forward to this one and unfortunately I couldn't even finish it. I didn't care for the narration. And all in all I was just plain bored.

I enjoy romances centered on Chanukah, but not this one.
Overall: 2
Spice: 3
Narration: 3
Andie is spending her first Chanukah alone as her father passed earlier in the year. When she finds out she might lose her job in the new year, she considers a drastic move in her future. When she runs into her neighbor Leo and finally has more than a passing conversation, they decided to light their first night candles together. As they celebrate each of the eight nights together is there a different path for Andie that offers more hope?
I have read a few Chanukah based romances and enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about a faith different than my own. This book did offer some valuable insights into traditions and family dynamics, but I wouldn't recommend if over the others I've read. All of the plot elements felt too forced to me - Andie's need to move all the way to Ohio (also, who lets you take that long to decide to accept a job?). Leo's Dad's extreme unforgiveness, Andie being mad at Leo about the desk. Those items didn't see very realistic and only there to add conflict to the story. The narrator was okay, but didn't always distinguish voices. Especially, in Andie & Leo's big argument, I didn't know who was talking which lost some of the drama of the moment. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to read this book.

This Jewish romance follows Andie and Leo, neighbors who connect during Chanukah while facing personal challenges—Andie grieving her father and considering a move to Ohio for work, and Leo trying to repair his relationship with his father. While I appreciated the inclusion of Jewish traditions, the story fell flat. The premise of Andie needing to move for a job felt unrealistic, the ten-year-old’s dialogue was cringeworthy, and the constant emphasis on Leo’s looks grew tiresome. The romance itself felt forced, lacking genuine chemistry or emotional depth to keep me engaged.

We need more Hanukkah holiday books and this one was adorable. It’s deeper than I thought it would be but I loved the characters (except for Leo’s dad). I’m looking forward to the next book in the series. Please have it out by next Hanukkah!! Loved the narration.
I received a copy from netgalley and the publisher.

This is a cozy romantic comedy featuring a hard of hearing male in the antique business and a pre-school teacher who may be losing her employment. This is a good book for winter and centers around Hanukkah. I really enjoyed the characters in this, though it was somewhat predictable.

I really enjoyed this one. Andie and Leo are adorable together. The love story is an approach I've never read before. Surprising and wonderful 5 stars.
Many thanks to Net Galley and Tantor Audio for an audio ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to NetGalley and RBmedia for a ARC copy in exchange for an honest review. The audio version of this book is available January 28th, 2025! ♡
This was a really cute read - I love holiday books, even in January.
Andy and Leo are such a sweet couple. Leo is the perfect example of a golden retriever boyfriend.
The entire time I felt so sorry for Leo for ending up with such a dickhead father. Glen really pissed me off - how can you be so cruel to your kids?
Millie was definitely my favourite character, a cute 10 year old who wants her uncle to find love.
There were times I was struggling to stay interested. This was an audio read, and usually with audios I am enthralled with the story. I feel like book could’ve been a tad shorter and have the same outcome.

Leo and Andie -- the couple that almost wasn't! If it wasn't for a little Chanukah luck, Andie might have been spending her first Chanukah alone after the passing of her father and with the knowledge that her job (preschool) is closing at the end of the year. Thankfully for Leo, this helped him get close to the "hot neighbor". It's a cute story that does give you the warm fuzzies at times, but overall, the story is kind of forget-able.
I really liked the narrator, Kelli Tager, I have listened to her narrations before, and she did a perfect Andie.

4⭐️s. Such a sweet story but there were definitely some fiery moments too. Family drama, feeling alone, acts of service, and so much more.
This is my first book narrated by @tageraway and will not be my last for sure. Amazing job. I’m always so in awe of narrators being able to do such a wide range.
Andie lost both her parents and feels very alone. Her extended family is full of opinions and drama. She longs to find her own family to love and be loved. When her extremely attractive neighbor comes knocking, it’s hard to not see what could be. The problem: Andie’s about to lose her job and the only thing seemingly available is several states away.
Leo has always had a crush on the girl next door. When he ends up spending the first night of Hanukah with Andie, he knows this is his chance. But can he convince her to stay without making her feel like a fool for her carrier choice. Will the strain he has with his father and an accident ruin everything too.
Thank you to @miri_white_ @netgalley and @tantoraudio for the advanced listener copy. It was so beautiful. #eightnightstowinherheart #netgalley #hanukkahromance #advancedlistenercopy #audiobookreview

This book is now being added to my favorite holiday reads list! I loved that this book takes place over the course of the eight nights of Chanukah and includes many difficult topics like loss of a loved ones and a disability. This book had such a cute holiday meet-cute between two neighbors that have been eyeing each other for a while but never made a move until now.
This book features a main male character who is a hard-of-hearing and a main female character who works with children with disabilities. I loved the diversity representation in this book but it also didn't throw it into your face but it was nicely incorporated.
I love Andie and Leo's characters and thought their chemistry was well written! I was a little surprised by the spice level but definitely didn't hate it. I enjoyed that we got both POVs of the story but they were mixed into the same character which was a little confusing at times.
I listen to the audiobook and enjoyed the performance by Kelli Tager.

I’ve been happy to see more Hanukkah books this year and this has been my favorite of the bunch. I loved the characters – Andie and Leo worked so well together and I could almost feel the chemistry between them. The secondary characters, particularly his family, were so welcoming that I felt like part of the family, too. I loved the addition of the struggles with the family business, the conflict within the family, and the happily ever after. Highly recommended!

I was really looking forward to this book, however it feel really flat for me and didn’t keep my attention. The overall premise that Andie would have to move from Massachusetts to Ohio for a job in early childhood is ridiculous to me. The writing and audiobook performance of the ten year old was cringey at best. Also describing how hot someone was over and over again, made me question what Andie and Leo were compensating for. The romance felt forced at best and like there wasn’t any real chemistry.
Thank you to Netgalley and Alcove Press for the audio ARC. Please continue to support Jewish and Hannukah love stories!

I enjoyed this audiobook, it was a cozy book for me. I found myself entertained throughout the book and wanted to finish it quickly to know where the story would go. I was going back and forth between 3 and 4. Ultimately I decided to give the book 3 stars because of what Leo told Andie after the conflict about the desk. After I finished the book I was still wanting to give it 4 stars since I was entertained and it was a feel-good book but after I was writing my journal review I decided on a 3 star. I also did not like Leo's dad I found him to be annoying and rude. I think Glen should have taken more accountability for what he put his sons through.

Thank you Netgalley and tantor audio for the free ALC. My opinions are being left voluntarily. I love to learn about out religious traditions and especially when they are ones that are new to me. I loved the narrators the story was great the mcs were intriguing and special..I enjoyed this book.
4.5/5☆

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC. This was my last holiday book of the season and I adored it. It was perfect and made my heart so warm and happy.

This is a sweet, closed-door romance. Preschool teacher Andie is facing down her first Hannukah without her father, her mother having passed long ago, just as the preschool she works at is closing its doors due to lack of funding. One bright spot is her hottie neighbor, Leo, also Jewish and (most importantly) single. Things with Leo heat up just as Andie must decide whether to take a job offer out of town. She's a practical queen (her out town job offers education reimbursement benefits-- how could she turn that down??), yet the potential with Leo and his boisterous family gives her pause.
Leo must confront his own strained relationship with his father, who is nursing a years' long grudge stemming from Leo's adolescent lapse of judgment. Leo has spent years trying to regain his father's trust so he and his brother can take over the family antiques business. Things come to a head when Andie gets pulled into the maelstrom.
This story deals with themes of loss, the longing to belong, chosen family, and redemption. Narrator Kelli Tager does an excellent job bringing the characters to life.

I enjoyed listening to this book. My only issue was I wish it had been available during the holiday season. As someone who celebrates Hanukkah there are not many books for us to enjoy. While this is a romance book there is more to it than that which I enjoyed. The characters were well developed, there was a good amount of drama, and a lot of holiday spirit. This book was very cute!
