I love that the topic of LGBTQ+ families is addressed in a non-fiction format with resources, a glossary, and additional information, similar to any other non-fiction text. Families with same-sex parents and more traditional families will all benefit from straightforward information that promotes tolerance and rejects fear or bigotry.

I highly recommend this book for schools, libraries, doctors offices, and anyone who works with children.

This is a very age appropriate look into “two mom,” families.
It touches on various types of queer identities and couples, ways that queer couples have children and challenges. The book also makes sure to bring up the strengths of “two-mom,” homes - which is refreshing.
I liked that it is very simple and clear language. It is an easy to digest and understand book for elementary age children.
As a queer woman and a special ed teacher, I would definitely buy a physical copy of this book to have on my personal bookshelf.

I received a copy of this eBook from netGalley for a honest review.

This is a great book to introduce kids to the concept of a two mom household or give kids in a two mom home something like them. Well written and informative without being judgmental or emotional. Just the facts and love all that any family needs.

We are a Two-Mom family with three kiddos - 8, 4, & 2. We read this with our 8 year old (technically SHE read it to US) & we felt it was very well done.
