After God vol 1 really caught my attention. The concept was really interesting and the material was full of action and pretty dark. TW there is a lot of self harm and suicide references so please be warned. Now having read volume two and three I am a bit conflicted. The story in volumes two and three seems very disjointed as it tries to introduce the larger cast of characters that are part of the Anti-God Institute and expound on the foes that they are up against. A lot of the style feels a bit like Jujutsu Kaisen in a lot of ways, but the writer has moved very quickly to raise the stakes in a way that doesn't feel coherent to me. The series is still in the early stages, and I think the premise laid down in book one is really great, but I hope that they begin to find a consistent through line to keep the momentum of the story without having to spend as much time explaining all the new and random occurrences that keep popping up in the story.
