Thank you Netgalley for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book. The opinions written are completely honest and my own.
You cannot feel blue reading this book. The mix of colorful fun illustrations and the pretty accurate thought process of a child trying to comprehend such s heavy subject is perfect.

How adorable!! From the illustrations to the story about what love is about this book is absolutely adorable!
This would be a wonderful addition to your kiddos library! It's silly and easy for the kids to understand. Your kids will want to read it again and again and again!

Thank you to NetGalley and Albatros Media for the advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.
Cute book about a child trying to understand what love is. Grownups always say things above love, but it is usually done figuratively. Monica, Minimoni, goes about finding out what love really is. The graphics are cute.

It's not at all clear as to why "Minimoni" is the name of the main character, especially when her name is actually Monica. Aside from that it is kind of cute, giving kids an idea about what love can be shown or felt.

Explaining concepts and emotions to children can be a very difficult thing to do. This book does so masterfully, showing the complex and multifaceted nature of love, all wrapped in whimsical and unique illustrations.

Cute book about a girl who wants to know what love is. Loved the illustrations. A nice little book for young, curious children.

Thank you for the ARC. This was a cute book about love. My son is a little young yet to understand it but when he’s older he will enjoy it. The large eyes on Mini were a bit much but overall it was cute illustrations.

This is a really sweet story about a girl trying to understand the concept of love. The illustrations are beautiful and the words are tender. I really enjoyed this book.

This is a very sweet little book that can help kids understand a very confusing emotion. My daughter (5) loved the illustrations and the hunt for love as Minimoni was searching for it. She liked that Minimoni was in the cupboards and everything. The dynamic design, with one page flipping the book, and the way Minimoni moves about the pages, kept my daughter engaged. She loved Minimoni wondering if she was in love with spaghetti, and the poor cat getting smothered with kisses. The book opened up some discussion for how we feel and express love, and also how it compares to other emotions. How choosing love is the best option, and how love can look different depending on the situation. The book brings up many questions that kids might have, and allows them to be open without a direct answer. It allows the kids to think and explore and find their own way without platitudes or strong arming or trying to fit things in a box. The illustrations are very well done, and help explain and move the story along, and have just enough imagination included to really grab kids attention (the dragon was a big hit). We read this ebook through NetGalley.
