Confronted with an extremely expensive medication for one of her triplets, Emma Bailey does not know where to turn. This was not the life she expected or that she and her late husband had planned. When her good friend Carter comes up with the idea of a marriage of convenience so that Addie could receive the medication with his insurance, she is horrified. Will she overcome her hesitation and strike a bargain? Deserted as a child, can she finally begin to understand that not only has she been grafted into God’s family but she no longer needs to do everything for herself as she is now part of Carter’s large family?
An early copy of this lovely marriage of convenience story was received through Love Inspired and BookFunnel. These thoughts are my own and were in no way solicited.

Emma Bailey is raising her three children alone after husband passed away. When one of the kids medicine is beyond her budget Carter McCaw suggest she remarry for health insurance. Emma doesn't really trust a log of people and suggest that Carter and she marry. Carter doesn't ever plan on marrying after his college girlfriend dumped him.
They do marry but he lives in an RV on her farm property and spends time with her and the kids. As time goes by they realize that they really do love each other.

I'm not a fan of Marriage of Conviences but this book was a fun read.
Each worried about the other. Each has a secret.
Emma is an interesting person and one that made me want to smh head at her at times. I love that she's a protective mom and a go getter.
This is a fast paced book and one that will melt your heart all at the same time.
These 3 kids make the read all the worth while. I loved them immediately they were so stinking cute.
A relaxing story about learning to get along and adjusting to each other's quirks which sometimes made me laugh.
5 stars for a cute and sweet read that passed a rainy afternoon.
This story will draw you in immediately.
I really loved every minute of it.
My thanks to NetGalley for a copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine

I'm a sucker for marriage of convivence story and you don't always find them in a modern day setting. So when I do find them I read them. And I always end up loving them.

I love love inspired books. This story was so wholesome and romantic. I really enjoyed reading it and would definitely recommend it.

Heidi Main is a fantastic writer. Her characters have depth and emotion like no other. Emma is a widow and mom to triplets. Carter was Emma’s husband’s best friend. He is always there for her. When Emma’s daughter needs very expensive meds, Carter steps up in a huge way. Even as Emma’s world keeps falling apart Carter is there. I love this story line!!

Marriage of convenience is my favorite trope, so I knew I’d like this book, and I really did! It’s a slow-burn romance, but since the marriage was supposed to be practical, not about love, it takes time. But it’s definitely worth it.
Emma is widowed with triplets and has a farm and store to run. Before her husband passed away, he asked his best friend, Carter, to help her. Carter has been supporting her and the kids, but when Emma needs better insurance for one of the kids, they agree to a marriage of convenience. Emma promises she’ll never love anyone but her late husband, and Carter doesn’t want to fall in love again. But as they spend more time together, things start to change. Emma feels guilty about falling for Carter, and Carter thinks it’s wrong to fall for his best friend’s wife. Can they both take the risk and turn this into something more?
I really enjoyed this story! It was sweet, and Carter was amazing from the start, especially as her husband. Their nervousness about their feelings felt real, and watching their chemistry grow was so nice. Such a heartwarming story!
I give this 4.5 stars, rounded to 5 stars!
I received a complimentary copy. This review reflects my honest opinion.
