Moment of Truth by Krissy Baccaro is the fourth book in the Ella Perri Mysteries series. This can be read as a standalone novel but if you liked this story give the others in the series a shot. Blood runs thicker than water - but revenge runs deeper than both. Ella has to face off against her Uncle Luca, her own blood but also a man hell bent on revenge and manipulation. This book was filled with twists, turns, and a ton of family secrets. I really liked the way the characters were written, they felt very real and well fleshed out. If you are looking for a book centered on family secrets, revenge and deception definitely give this a try.

In The Moment of Truth, Kristy Baccaro skillfully crafts a suspenseful narrative brimming with dark family secrets. As the characters dig deeper into their past, tension mounts, culminating in a series of shocking revelations that kept me on the edge of my seat.

I managed to read this perfectly fine as a standalone. But it's certainly made me google the rest.
I cannot quite explain my thoughts without stumbling excitedly over spoilers!
It's gripping. And each nee secret revs up the next edge of your seat situation.
Danger is in the way of our character so do you continue forward, until the end. When or if would you lose your bravery to keep going!?

I very much enjoyed this book. The writing was great and the characters were well developed. I hope to read more from this author in the future.
