I love this novella. There is so much emotion packed into this novella. Henry Flynn is in a very dark place haunted by his past and Lady Emma does everything in her power to pull him out. Intrigue, danger and a burning attraction pull this couple together on a adventure that will either pull them apart or bring them together.

This novella is an introduction to the new series, Covent Garden Cubs, and it promises to be another fantastic series by this talented author. Lady Emma Talbot is the sister of the Duke of Ravenscroft, the powerful duke we met in Sapphires Are an Earl’s Best Friend. The Duke has forbidden Henry Flynn, the new Viscount Chesham, to have anything to do with his young sister. Flynn has a well-deserved reputation as the Viscount of Vice and knows he should stay away from the young lady who caught his eye the first time he saw her. Of course, he’s not taking into account Emma’s wishes, which are firmly set on Flynn. This makes for an interesting test of wills on the road to a delightful romance. Throw in the kidnapping of his younger brother when Flynn was a child, which he blames himself for, the interference of a Scotland Yard investigator who says he’s found his long lost brother, and the machinations of a dastardly crime lord, and we have another fantastic tale that was totally engrossing, over too soon, and thoroughly enjoyable. I’m very much looking forward to reading the first book in the Covent Garden Cubs, Earls Just Want to Have Fun.

Oh what a fun fast read. I really enjoyed this book but then I enjoy most all of Shana Galen's books. Would recommend to any who enjoy historical romances.
