The tale is about two souls destined to be with each other, but constantly missing divine cues for the same. Whilst Beth hasn't had an easy life, she finally finds solace in a steady bartending job. But when she finds herself falling in life with Sam at the bar, who's oblivious to her feelings. Miriam's death shakes them both up and the presence of other characters such as Cassandra, Peter, Mark, and other mystical elements, add to the obstacles for Beth and Sam.
