The book takes up a complex and sensitive topic and weaves it into the lives of Shelly and Steve to show us the hardships that come with a couple having an open sexual relationship. As other lovers zone in and out of the lives of Shelly and Steve, the book takes a look at the emotional angle of their quest of being swingers. It makes for a good one-time read.
