The illustrations are stunning! I have read many books with my five-year-old and two-year-old so I have an eye for what draws my kids’ interest. This book seems very focused on the day from a child’s perspective, such as the focus on things like the praying mantis and bird. The drawing of the worker’s hands spoke to me as the adult. This is the type of book we could read over and over again to catch new meaning(s).
