First off, I loved the narration of this book. Well done! The book was the first book I’ve read by this author and it was good. I would read more by her in the future based off this book. This book was written in the harlequin style of lords and ladies who don’t “work” but live a fabulous life instead. Both the MMC and FMC are looking for more out of life and begin to fix a years long feud between their fathers by trying to figure out what type of product they should lease their co-owned factory to. It’s all quite easy and pat for them to find someone to lease to and it all goes smoothly for the most part. I felt there could’ve been more realistic angst and pining, so to me, it was just fine. It’s very much a low-angst love story if that’s what you’re after.

I enjoyed this new book and start of new series from Frampton and I liked the two lead characters, so I'm hopeful for the rest of the series.

This was really cute and a promising start to the series. Lord Lucian is all about fun and games and Lady Diantha is all about planning ahead and being responsible. They bring out the best in each other while working together on a joint business their families own. Dialogue was a bit silly at times but this was a fun romp, with a great narrator, and I'm looking forward to the next in the series. Fans of Jennifer Ashley and Lynsay Sands should enjoy!
