Thank you HarperAudio Children’s, Greenwillow Books, and NetGalley for the advanced electronic audio review copy of this book. This very informative book about Arctic Terns provides a wonderful narration and is a great option for my ELLs who can listen to it while following along in a physical book, practicing their reading and pronunciation skills while learning about this amazing birds. This book is the perfect length for the ELLs, providing information while not overwhelming. We need more books like this on different topics (both fiction and nonfiction) for ELLs as well as any reluctant reader who would feel a sense of accomplishment having completed a book on their own.
Can’t wait to use both versions with my students!

I loved the narration and the non-fiction narrative of Sun Bird. I listened with my 7-year-old son, who loves factual animal books. We both learned new facts, and enjoyed the cadence and tone of the narrator. I plan to read the physical book with both my 6 and 7-year-old sons, and would definitely play the audiobook while reading.
I recommend this audiobook either independently or as an accompaniment to the physical book for auditory learners, and anyone who is interested in learning more about the arctic tern. This would be a great audiobook for schools, libraries, and homeschool parents.
