Classic Memory Makers

I absolutely adored the way this book fostered such memory filled and wholesome memories being made with their grandparents. A really heartwarming idea with family being the foundation.

The illustrations demonstrated the chaos it took to create these memorable moments and how the participants were experiencing them.

I would say this story is adaptable to read to a child or a group of children.

I received a copy of this book from Gina Bellisario (Author) and Chloe Burgett (Illustrator). I am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions are my own.

A brother and sister duo are dropped off for a weekend at Grandma and Grandpa's house for "camp." This is a fun adventure book of their antics.

Review to come to my blog on May 6th and other places soon thereafter.

I received this book from the publisher/Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.

I just love adorable and cute picture books, especially when they are just full of fun and not so much full with inspirational messages. Haha. This one was just wonderful!

In this adorable picture book we meet Leo and Tessa! They are off to stay overnight with their grandparents (who are super eager to see their grandchildren) but this isn't going to be a normal overnight stay, oh no, grandma and grandpa made it all camp themed! Yep! Hugs are a bit more special. We are going to eat smores (no campfires because that wouldn't be safe on a balcony, haha)! We are going on exciting hikes (at least with the power of imagination and the power of love things because much more exciting)! We are making tents and listening to scaryyyy tales (but not too scary because grandpa is terrified otherwise, which just made me laugh because it is normally the kids you keep an eye on). Then there are, just like with camping, spoooooky noises and I had fun seeing the kids discover what it was.

It was just so cute and fun and I loved seeing the kids have the time of their lives and see the grandparents being so so happy to see their grandkids. This really was a heartwarming book! I hope the kids will be able to stay overnight again soon!

The art, I really liked the art. It was such a fun and a bit kooky style of drawing and it fitted so well with the story. I liked the character designs!

All in all, if you want a heartwarming and fun story about grandkids visiting their grandparents and having the time of their life, be sure to check this one out!

I read this book with my 11-year-old to get his take on it, and I am sharing his feedback. He said the book was interesting, but the pictures are what makes it truly outstanding.

He found them highly entertaining. He recommends this book for 3—to 7-year-olds or those who do not like to read.

Too cute. The illustrations were fantastic and made me want to go to Camp Grandma and Grandpa, especially for dessert and fishing! A good little picture book for any kid.

This was such a warm & fuzzy kind of book. Grandma's and Grandpas can always be an adventure. It made me feel nostalgic.
Definitely a cute must read.

What's more fun than spending time with your grandparents? Spending time at Camp Grandma and Grandpa! They do everything you'd expect to do at a camp -- but at the grandparents' home. This is an adorable, cozy book that would be great as part of a nighttime routine.
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this

I received an electronic ARC from Two Lions through NetGalley.
Adorable story about two children coming to camp. The camp leaders are also known as Grandma and Grandpa. All four get to experience all the camp adventures while staying at the house. I love the detailed illustrations that capture the joy and fun. The text is easy to follow and will stir memories for readers who have been to camp and those who love spending time with their grandparents.

A huge thank you to Two Lions and NetGalley for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

First of all, I adore the concept of this book. The idea of "Daddy's Girls" or "Mama's Boys" (not the toxic variety) are pretty well known. I myself was very much a "Grandma's Girl". I preferred my Grandma over most other people for a good portion of my very young childhood, so I love the idea of kids going to their grandparents for an adventure.

This book is adorable, fast paced, and has all the best parts of spending the night at the grandparents house. It even includes cleaning up (and as a parent, this is a VERY important aspect to include!) and makes it fun. This would be a great book to read to kids who are a little hesitant to leave the safety of the primary caregivers to go stay the night with the grandparents, or a great story for grandparents to read to the new campers -- I mean grandkids. Super cute!

This book is a children's book that follows young kids as they go to visit grandpa and grandma. The grandparents turn it into a camp and they do a lot of fun camp things together.

This was a super cute and fun book! It was full of cute adventures that the kids took with their grandparents. I also loved the adorable pictures. I think this book would make a perfect gift from grandparents.

This is a fun and engaging book about some children's trip to visit their grandma and grandpa. As someone who has special memories with their grandparents, this story touched my heart. This book teaches children just how important grandma and grandpa are and to cherish every moment with them

I read this book to my 5 year old daughter and she enjoyed it and asked for a second time. The story is about kids who stay at their grandparents for a “camp” overnight and how they make their home their camping grounds. The story is simple to follow and the illustrations are fun.

My 4y son and I absolutely loved this book, it is probably the best kids book we have read on NetGalley so far. The illustrations are so cute and different than our other books, the story is fun and enjoyable for both kiddos and grown ups. The way the grandparents give their grandkids quality time with creativity and intentionality is an inspiration to parents and relatives, while giving kids tons of ideas and hopes of their own adventure. Highly recommend this for you and your family!
