This wasn't working for me. I found the MFC to be very immature. I also felt there was no backstory and never understood why these characters were into each other.

Oh my goodness I was obsessed with this story. Classic brothers best friend… but beautifully written. Book one of the Ember Falls Series has me dying to read every book by Corrine Michaels.
Ainsley has been in love with her brother's best friend, Lachlan, for whole life. After an incident one evening, Ainsley and Lachlan don’t speak for four years when they cross paths in Ember Falls. Ainsley is a journalist and there to write a piece on Lachlan after he saves a girl from a burning building. While he was ready to be drafted in the NFL several years back, life happened and he ended up becoming a firefighter instead.
But they can’t ignore what happened four years ago, or their feelings towards each other.
I adored this story and the banter back and forth between the two main characters. They were just good people who wanted the best for each other. I can’t wait to read book two!

This is a very sweet romance at its heart filled with second chances and choosing love over all else. I enjoyed reading it however it did feel more like I was reading an early draft than a finish book - the characters were great but not quite fully developed and the plot seemed a little thin. But on the whole it was a cute, enjoyable read.

SO GOOD!! Ansley has been in love with her brother’s best friend, Lachlan, for years, but she had no idea he felt the same way. After a (half) drunken kiss between the two, feelings are left behind between and Ansley doesn’t look back. But 4 years go by and Ansley is forced to head back to her small town to interview the star of her fantasy’s for an article!! Old feelings come back & with a force stronger than ever! But omg the chemistry between Ansley & Lachlan is so good and their banter had me giggling & kicking my feet!! I love them together & I really love a man who is HEAD OVER HEELS!!! Rose is so cute! The guy group is fantastic & they made me so happy. Overall I just had the best freaking time and ya'll need to read this one you will not regret it.

It is not memorable compared to the author's other titles. Very little is in the couple's way by the end. It is not a great read if the side characters are more interesting.

Cute friends to lovers book with a bit of hate. Corrine has a knack for writing interesting blurbs. Her Rose Canyon series is the best and I'm liking the start of this new series as well. I like West , former football athlete turn fireman. Spicy. The fact that he turn down his scholarship wasn't superficial and it tied to his character. To summarize, All Too Well is Elsie Silver's Wild Love. It's the same character, story, and tropes. I love the start of this series but I'm hoping for more in the second one.
