There are few female fighter jet pilots, and even fewer who serve as demo team pilots. As an avid aviation enthusiast (my spouse is a pilot - but not military!) we spend a lot of time around pilots, at Airshows, and have a true interest in the subject which made this an easy read. Curran combines life lessons with real world, relatable examples to really drive home her message. It’s the type of book that really makes you think about it after you put it down, and I will certainly refer back to it in the future. Women belong in all spaces - because it inspires the next generation to aspire towards something that maybe traditionally has been male dominated. We think and feel differently than our male counterparts - our out-of-the box thinking can render truly amazing and creative results! I’m thrilled to have read an ARC of this book and will definitely be buying physical copies for myself and some friends who I feel would benefit from Curran’s perspective.
