This web comic really paved the way for many titles and genres to grow since its release. It is what it says on the label, but what does it mean to be strong? And who does it benefit? A great read perfect for teens.
Strong Female protagonist reminded me a little of both Jessica Jones and Powers, in that it focused on a superhero who doesn't want to be one, and would rather just get on with her normal life. It looks at the way people with powers sometimes forget about the harm their epic battles do to the ordinary people around them. It's also very funny in parts.
This book is a collection of the first 4 volumes of Strong Female Protagonist.
I really liked the artowork and colouring, but found that the content didn't quite live up tho the expectations.
I did enjoy the story of Alison and her adventures into 'superheroland', but I think they could've been better.
DIdn't end up reading this before it expired. I'm sure that it was interesting and that I would have enjoyed it, but at the time I received this, I was busy reading other books and wasn't able to get to this one in time. I would have liked to read it before it expired, but after all this time, I'm not really bothered as to whether or not I read it.
Honestly this was just an really empowering book for women and the artwork is so beautiful
