After all the build up about how wonderful the character adn series was, I found myself disappointed. These episodic tales, while interesting, reveal little about the characters. They were okay, but far from the thrilling, influential stories I heard about. Hugo Pratt's art is lovely, but nothing I hadn't seen from Amwerica's great comic strip artists like Milton Caniff.
