This book was used for an interview with the author on The Skiffy and Fanty Show. The interview has been up for a while.

All of the Myke Cole novels in the two series set in this world are good to great. Definitely worthwhile reads. The world reminds of the X-Men, but if they had no Professor X or Magneto keeping them independent, out of the government's hands.

As much as I enjoyed Myke Cole's initial trilogy and was thus excited about this new book in the same world, Gemini Cell was a let-down. While there were some exciting moments and the secondary characters were interesting, I found the main character to be quite boring and a large part of the middle of the books dragged. I enjoyed it enough to give the second book a try, but this was an unfortunate disappointment.
