Obsessed. I received this as arc and I'm so glad I did. I have not ATE a nonfantasy book up like this in a while. I love their banter. ๐ญ

A hot spicy read that felt very wrong but so right at the same time. Wasnโt something that o would usually read but Iโm glad I picked it up!

Grace Turner once again proves her storytelling prowess in Something to Someone, the second book in her compelling series. While this novel stands strong on its own, its depth and emotional resonance will undoubtedly leave readers eager to explore Turnerโs other works. With a seamless blend of passion, heart, and complexity, Something to Someone is a romance novel that goes beyond surface-level attraction, delving into themes of love, self-discovery, and emotional healing.
At its core, this book is about more than just romanceโitโs about finding oneโs place in the world and understanding the connections that truly matter. Turner crafts a narrative filled with rich character development, where each protagonist carries layers of history, pain, and hope. The chemistry between the main characters is undeniable, and their journey is equal parts heartwarming and heartrending. Turner expertly builds tension, creating moments of sizzling intensity while never losing sight of the deeper emotional stakes at play.
What makes Something to Someone particularly engaging is its ability to balance spice with substance. The romance is passionate, but it is grounded in genuine emotion, making the relationship feel authentic and deeply moving. Readers will find themselves invested in not just the love story but in the personal growth of the characters as they navigate their past wounds and fight for their future.
Turnerโs writing is immersive, drawing readers in with vivid descriptions, sharp dialogue, and an undeniable emotional pull. The pacing is perfectโeach chapter unravels a new layer, making it nearly impossible to put down. And just when you think you know where the story is heading, Turner ensures it ends with a bang, leaving readers satisfied yet still yearning for more.
Whether youโre a longtime fan of Grace Turner or discovering her for the first time, Something to Someone is a must-read. Itโs a romance novel with depth, heat, and a story that lingers long after the final page. Turner has once again delivered a book that not only entertains but also resonates, proving that she is a force to be reckoned with in the genre.

Ryder has been crushing on his Momโs best friend since he was a teenager, and maybe heโs been a little flirtatious as heโs gotten older. Maybe he finds himself confessing things he shouldnโt after finding his mom and his best friend in a compromising position. Maybe Caroline canโt stop thinking about what heโs said, and maybe they get a little caught up in whatโs just supposed to be a bit of fun. Ryder says heโs willing to accept whatever sheโs willing to give him, but Caroline has her reasons for only keeping things casual when it comes to dating. Is she willing to break her rules for the one and only Ryder Calaway?
Okay this book was absolute fire ๐ฅ. I was screeching at my damn kindle the whole time. The spice was next level, and the p egg ing scene was holier than thou ๐ฅต. I havenโt been able to stop thinking about this book in the days since Iโve finished it, and I think Iโm in love with Ryder Calaway and Caroline Grant, aka MOMMY ๐ฅต. I loved the bi rep, and the dynamics between the couple were hot as hellfire. With Ryder being more of a switch, and Caroline liking to be more dominant, the way he submitted to her had me panting, but when he took control (because she allowed him to) it left me sweating like a sinner in church.
I love them, and I genuinely canโt wait to read the next book!

You were rooting for these two. It was such a sweet romance. The age gap wasn't ALL this book was which can be a struggle with some books of this kind of trope. It was done with spice and maturity hand in hand. It didn't feel icky or an excuse to be icky if that makes sense.
I'm usually averted to this trope but this might well go far as to healing that part of me that's been bothered for a while about some books using it as an excuse.

Wow, wow, wow! This book had all the spice and a great plot behind it. I absolutely loved the characters and fell in love with them right along with them! I am usually not a huge reversed age gap reader, but this read definitely changed my mind. The characters were relatable and written so you felt you could connect or resonate with them. This was an very easy read and I would recommend to anyone looking for that next smouldering read!

Loved this captivating romance, the tension and story between the caracters was incredible.
A must on your TBR in 2025

4 stars โญ๏ธ I love an age gap and this delivered! I loved the characters, the plot and the LGBTQ+ representation. It is spicy!! ๐ฅต I canโt wait to read the next book from Grace Turner!

Caroline & Ryder
โ I want to be something to you โ
I was worried that this story would just basically mirror Theo & Natalieโs story but it definitely didnโt.
Age gap

Loved both books. Spice and everything nice.
Thank you NetGalley & Grace Turner for this arc read

Iโm such a sucker for โtabooโ or like best friends parents type romance books, and this was just as good as I thought it would be. I didnโt read the first one but I absolutely am going to as soon as Iโm done typing this lol
