This has been on my TBR pile for so long, and I'm glad I finally got around to it. I really enjoyed the storyline and seeing the characters change throughout the story was a great character development. The plot was great and kept my attention. I'm glad I got the chance to read this and will be on the lookout for more in the future!

Secrets, murder, blood, gangs, grief, and all the plot twists ever. Gah. This book is so, so good! You will want to set aside a few hours of your day so you can read it all in one go. You won't want to put this down!

Thank You for the opportunity to review this book. Sorry, I attempted to read this book. However, I couldn't get in to it. So, I was unable to finish reading and reviewing it.

After Us was an angsty book from beginning to end. I was a mess of nerves reading this book. I don't like them but this one, in particular, had me stick to it until the end. Melissa and Javier's romance was what kept me going, wanting to know what would happen to them.
The writing style was great, the building of the story and characters was well made and despite I haven't read the book one of the series, I didn't feel lost any moment.

DNF (Did not finish) This book was not for me. Mainly because while it does have Latinx characters it's racist because you are implementing the "Latinxs are all in gangs" so yeah.
