I'm not from the US so a lot of the dishes were foreign to me. That being said, they did look delicious and I enjoyed trying out a couple.
The book is split into different categories; introduction, breakfast/brunch, appetisers/snacks, soup/salad, sandwiches/burgers, various entrees, sides, desserts and drinks. There was even a handy US/metric conversion chart and substitutions at the end.
As a vegetarian, I found that there was an okay range of options Though I will say that in the seafood and vegetarian entrees section, there was only one vegetarian dish. What I'm trying to say, is that I don't know that naming the section vegetarian was the right call, as it is seafood bar 1.
I think this book is a great idea, especially because you can have the delicious meals that you eat out, but have control over the ingredients. You could easily swap and change ingredients to suit your needs.

This cookbook was a great compilation of recipes he top restaurant foods. Recipes are easy to follow and the photos make everything look delicious! Many of them require a deep fryer, which I don’t think is as common as it used to be, and I’m not sure if an air fryer would work as a substitution. Overall, a nice mix of recipes!

I'm getting hungry just reading about these recipes. This cookbook has some of my favorites including Chili's southwestern egg rolls, Applebee's artichoke dip and Chipotle's guacamole.
The range also includes Subway sandwiches all the way to The Cheesecake Factory and Buca di Beppo!
There is something delicious in every section, but the appetizers is really where this shines, in my opinion.
The only issue that I see is that it goes back and forth between making everything in the recipe from scratch on one page and on another page you buy most of the ingredients already made. For example, instead of making biscuits and gravy from scratch, the author includes a package of biscuits as an ingredient. This could also be beneficial if you want an easy recipe sometimes, but something more complex other times.
I also like a cookbook with a picture for each recipe, but this one only had a few photos. Excuse me while I go make a Wendy's Frosty.

Loved being able to try some of the recipes (They turned out FANTASTIC.)
Loved the start where you gave tips and tricks and things to own, as some people want to make there favorite recipe from XYZ and have no idea where to start.
The images are SO delicious lo0king, though I'd (of course) prefer more to see what the things are supposed to look like.

I have always loved the copycat restaurant books. This one does not disappoint. It has clearly been updated, as it includes Crumbl cookies and the Starbucks Pink Drink. Now I can make it at home!

Kelly Jaggers’ The Everything Restaurant Copycat Recipes Cookbook is a delightful and practical addition to any home cook’s collection. This cookbook brings the flavors of popular restaurant dishes into your own kitchen, making it easier than ever to recreate beloved meals without the hassle or expense of dining out.
One of the most exciting aspects of this book is the wide variety of recipes it offers. From appetizers and entrees to desserts and, notably, delicious soups, Jaggers provides clear, well-organized instructions that make it simple for both novice and experienced cooks to follow. The ability to prepare and portion homemade soups for freezing is an especially valuable tip, offering a convenient and budget-friendly way to enjoy restaurant-quality meals at home.
Beyond just saving money, this cookbook also allows for greater control over ingredients, making it a fantastic resource for those looking to eat healthier or accommodate dietary preferences. The recipes are well-researched and thoughtfully crafted to capture the authentic flavors of popular dishes, ensuring that each meal is as satisfying as the restaurant original.
For food lovers who enjoy recreating their favorite restaurant meals, The Everything Restaurant Copycat Recipes Cookbook is a must-have. With its practical approach, budget-conscious benefits, and an array of delicious recipes, this book makes cooking at home both fun and rewarding.

This book is great for those occasions when you want to go out to eat but are trying to "be good". It has a wide range of restaurant favourites for you to recreate at home - the recipes are well set out and easy to follow

This my first ever cookbook review and I was so excited that I was chosen to read and review this cookbook.
I found this book very easy to follow, the recipes are very straightforward and I loved that there were a healthier substitutions and conversions appendix for people who use the metric system and celsius and for those who are looking for healthier options. Also, this book seemed very helpful for those who are not as experienced in the kitchen so any newbie can learn the essentials, such as different appliances and cooking tools, and be able to properly follow the recipes.
The only downside this cookbook had for me is that a lot of the options are not available outside the US, so it makes it hard to try some of these recipes. However, for those who are living in the US this book does a great job giving options that most people have at home or easily can buy in a grocery store so they can recreate these dishes.
Overall, I cannot wait to try some of the recipes to try and recreate some of my favourite dishes from very well known restaurants.
Thank you NetGalley and Adams Media for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

It’s always fun to recreate your favorite restaurant dishes at home. There are dozens books on the market with recipes that are very close to the actual restaurant dishes. One such book, The Everything Restaurant Copycat Recipes Cookbook: 200 Easy Recipes to Re-Create Your Favorite Restaurant Dishes at Home, by Kelly Jaggers, is part of The Everything series. It has dozens of recipes that are supposed to taste just like they are supposed to.
This cookbook is different from many, in that many of the recipes call for convenience foods such as refrigerated doughs, bottled sauces, frozen breaded chicken and fish, Bisquick, etc. While these items save time in the kitchen, the actual restaurants don’t use them, so the recipes from this book don’t taste exactly like the originals. Some of the soups and salads are close, but sauces vary from brand to brand, and there aren’t recipes for the ones that actually come from the restaurants.
Another problem is that this cookbook has a limited number of photographs – the ones included are very nice – and most of the dishes aren’t pictured.
The recipes that are included are written in the traditional manner with the ingredients listed first, followed by step-by-step instructions. The recipes are easy to follow and both advanced and beginning cooks can successfully complete the dishes.
All told, while there are a lot of appealing recipes, they are similar to those restaurant favorites, but not as close as are found in other restaurant copycat books.
Special thanks to NetGalley for supplying a review copy of this book.

If you’ve ever craved your favorite restaurant dishes but didn’t want to deal with the hassle or expense of dining out, this book is for you. With 200 recipes covering everything from IHOP pancakes to Olive Garden breadsticks and Starbucks’ Pink Drink, it’s like having a cheat code for recreating those iconic flavors at home. The recipes are approachable, even for someone like me who’s not a seasoned chef. Most of the ingredients are easy to find, and the instructions are straightforward. I’ve already tried the Cinnabon cinnamon rolls and the Chili’s Southwestern Eggrolls, and both turned out surprisingly good.
That said, I did notice that some recipes lean on pre-packaged or frozen ingredients to simplify the process, which might not appeal to purists looking for entirely from-scratch cooking. And while the lack of photos for every recipe was a bit disappointing, the ones included are nice. I also appreciated the handy conversion charts and healthier substitution tips at the back of the book.
Thank you to the publishers and NetGalley for the opportunity to review a temporary digital ARC in exchange for an unbiased review.

The Everything Restaurant Copycat Recipes Cookbook was definitely an easy and fun read. It was like going through the list of family-friendly restaurants with their signature dishes. While this book was a fun read, if you're an advanced cook looking to make a great from-scratch meal for family or guests, this isn't the book for you. This may be a perfect fit for college kids or beginner cooks, or busy folks who are looking for shortcuts and make fun dishes. Also, if you're visual learners, this isn't the book for you as there aren't many pictures. However, this cookbook contains 10 chapters of foods and there are many recipes you can try out! They are well organized, easy to read, almost all of them come together very quickly, and ingredients are easy to find. So, if you enjoy cooking copycat recipes and don't spend hours prepping, give this one a try!

This is a fun cookbook that helps you replicate copycat versions of some of your favorite dishes from restaurants. So far, we have only tried a recipe or two, but they've been a nice dupe for some of our favorite meals when we eat out, but this way it's cheaper and fun to create at home.
There are a few of the recipes that have a little less detail to them than I'd hoped for, like explanations for how to fold the Taco Bell Crunch Wrap or the description of the KFC corn, but overall most of the recipes are pretty good. A few more photos would have been nice as well. For my teens, they liked that a lot of the receipes were easier because they also used pre-processed or frozen foods to simplify steps.
My thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this Advanced Reader Copy - all opinions are my own.

Finally, a copycat cookbook that isn't local chains! I have been searching for something like this for a while now and cannot wait to try out more of these recipes.

3.5 Stars: I think this is a fun and well laid out reference book for some of your favorite copycat recipes. I like that the author keeps the recipes fairly simple and easy to create at home. On the other hand, I feel like some of these recipes are so simplified that they wouldn't taste like the restaurant versions at all. There was a lack of recipe photos. Also, I was able to search online for more in-depth copycat recipes which make it feel like some of these were not thoughtfully created with the originals in mind.

This book has so many recipes for food my family loves in it. We have been without takeout options for a while now, and I’m looking forward to making some of these dishes for my family.
Super excited to try the Dominoes lava cakes. 🙂
Thank you for the ARC!

I want to thank NetGalley for the ARC of The Everything Restaurant Copycat Cookbook by Kelly Jaggers in exchange for an honest review.
This book is filled with many copycat popular recipes from different restaurants like Applebee's, Starbucks, McDonalds and Cracker Barrel. The recipes have common, easily accessible ingredients. Kelly makes the recipes simple to follow. At the end of the book, there is conversion cheat sheets for different measurements and healthier substitutions for different ingredients. I have not tried any of the recipes yet but there are many that I do want to try like the Applebee’s Oriental Chicken Salad and the Cinnabon Cinnamin Rolls just to name a few. This book is great for all skill levels of cooks and anyone who wants to make their favorite restaurant treats at home.

I absolutely love this cookbook! It’s incredibly easy to understand and navigate, which makes it perfect for anyone looking to recreate their favorite restaurant dishes at home. What really caught my attention were all the copycat recipes—so many of my favorite dishes are included, and I can already picture how delicious they’re going to turn out. From the clear instructions to the mouthwatering photos, this book really does a great job of bringing those restaurant flavors right into your own kitchen.
I’m already planning to try a few recipes in the coming weeks, and I’m excited to see how they turn out. It’s the kind of cookbook that makes cooking fun and easy while still delivering on those comforting, familiar restaurant flavors. If you're someone who loves dining out but wants to recreate that experience at home, this is definitely a must-have!

This cookbook features very easy recipes. I highly recommend it; it's worth buying. If you love to cook, this book is for you. The recipes are simple to make.

Such a great copycat cookbook! With the price of everything being so high now I love that this cookbook offers you the ability to make some of your favorite takeout or restaurant faves at home!
