Wonderful book that allows black women to be authentic in the way they live and interact with the world. Exploring many concerns and issues black women face on a daily basis. I will be using this book and buying the others from this author. Love this!

Great read! First read from this author. This book makes me want to read more from this author. Kept my attention and interest until the end.

So I appreciate wanting to create a space for black women and meditation. I found the prompts to not really be very specific to black woman. Plus, some of the ones that did address societal and cultural differences, just seemed oversimplified. I would have appreciated more specific questions/reflections at the end of each chapter.
