What an incredible end to a fantastic romantasy! Most of all, I'll miss Yasen as well as Yasen's man. Yes, you read it right, our favorite man finally found his favorite man!! I'd love a novella or something that focuses on them. I can't get enough of them!

Zarya and Rabin really go through it all in this book, but their love, faith, and trust withstand it all, and it was incredible to see them find that solace, that peace in knowing they have each other. Both have been so lonely and so alone for such a long time, and now, they truly have each other, and I was just so happy for them. I do feel sorry for Rabin because everything he thought turned upside down, and he really didn't deserve any of it. It was brutal and heartbreaking to see him experience all that. Zarya persevered through A LOT in this book, too. Let me tell you, the problems and conflicts they went through in this book, holy moly! Atrocious father, murderous sister, literal demons from another realm, another abusing father, our main characters really saw it all!!!

I love these characters a lot. Zarya with her fierce perseverance and unyielding morals, Rabin with his broody and quiet resolve, Yasen our heart and excellent soldier, and the rest of the cast; they all create a magical synergy that isn't found that often. I'd read at least 2 spin-off series with 2 couples from the Nightfire Quartet.

I give 4 stars, though, because again, I felt like the book would have benefited from being shorter, and also because Zarya and Rabin made some mistakes that they shouldn't have. Being kindhearted doesn't exclude being suspicious or at the very least cautious, and Rabin with his brilliant military mind should have connected some dots sooner. So at least for me, there was never a question "is he evil or not" since the answer had been very clear. To keep it short, they were too trusting when everything else screamed that they shouldn't.

However, I still love these characters, and I am just so fascinated by this majestic worldbuilding!!! The layering, the history, the background in this worldbuilding are out of this world!! It really doesn't get any better!!

If you love romantasy, spicy romantasy that combines excellent romance and even more excellent worldbuilding, look no further!! I love this series so much!!! Also, if you haven't read the author's Artefacts of Ouranos, please do!! Nisha J. Tuli writes amazing romantasy!

This was a beautiful, action packed ending to this series. I love Nisha J Tulis writing and each book gets even better for me. Zarya and Rabin face so many trials in this book and overcome so much. Even Yasen has to learn how to overcome some personal issues. This book is filled with twists and turns and parts where I didn’t know how Zarya was going to get out of it. The fighting scenes are much less in this book however we get so much information that I think it makes up for that. The ending was perfect and I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves found family, a strong FMC, unique magic, and so much more.
Thank you so much Second Sky for the arc!

I found this book to be difficult to get through for about the first half. It was obvious what was happening to everyone except the characters and it was kind of painful to read. I only kept reading because I knew it was the last book in the series and I wanted to finish this series. I enjoyed the first and perhaps some of the other books but at some point even they became a little hared to get through. No doubt just a personal opinion. I almost didnt finish this book but pushed through and I slightly did find the ending pretty good. I felt that the characters changed quite a bit between books and it was a bit odd. I am glad I finished the series and I do enjoy other books by this author, but this was not my favorite

What an emotional rollercoaster of an ending to this series!!

It was a great way to wrap up this story. It was a bit slow to start, but it sure picked up with lots of action to be had! It was heartbreaking at times as more secrets came out, and true colours were revealed!
I love Zarya and Rabin's relationship and who doesn't love a dark, broody, dragon shifting mmc! But saying that, I'm sorry, but Yasen still has my heart, his and Zarya's friendship is my favourite, and some of the dialogue between them in this book brought tears to my eyes!

Thank you to Nisha J. Tuli for the arc of this book for my honest review. Another fabulous ending to one of your series, excited to read your next book!

Can’t believe this series is over but I was very happy to know how it ended for everyone. As usual, this world is one of the most magical ones I have read. I dully enjoy the deep descriptions of how colorful the cultures in the different countries are. The rising phoenix was an operating rebellion that I fully wanted to be involved in.

Zarya’s character gets multiple blows but I really love how she keeps getting back up. She definitely has done it the whole series. Rabin has changed so much too, from being a loyal soldier to a betrayer and now a partner to Zarya. I love these two together and they deserve their ending.

Yasen is one of my favorites and how he is an amazing friend to Zarya. i was very glad to read that he gets his own character development + an interesting ending.

Something I really wished to see was more of these Ashvin twins. We got a small glimpse but I really wanted them to say something in that battle. More motives and maybe a little more connection to Zarya (besides of the fact they were very close to her)
All in all, I love this story, the magic system and this colorful fully rich world.

Wow. I’m not sure how Nisha did it but she pulled all of these threads together and tied them all off perfectly.

I absolutely loved that the main story arc was wrapped up so beautifully with the vanshaj and their contribution to eliminating the darkness.

I loved the full circle moment that Rabin and Yasen got with Gopal, which was so deserved and needed.

I love the character development of Zarya especially but also Rabin and Yasen, all of them learning to accept love and their own worth.

I loved that the villains got what they deserved, from Gopal to Dishani, to the Ashvins to Abishek. It was all such satisfying perfection.

I loved that Row and Asha are together again without restriction.

My favorite thing about the story is that Zarya got the family and the love of her life that she deserved.

The world Nisha wove and the characters within it have my heart and I won’t forget them. What a ride!

This book started a little slow for me and I was so anxious for Zarya and Rabin when they first got to Andhera. I think the slow pacing did help lull me into a bit of a place where I thought things might be okish….but when things started going down, they went down and our MCs went through it.

I loved how everyone got the ending they deserved and how this concluded such a beautiful series. Nisha’s worlds are so magical, lush, and well developed that I hated to leave this one behind. I’ve loved this entire series and will for sure be rereading these stories in the future.

The final entry in Nisha J Tuli’s The Nightfire Quartet is a powerful, beautiful finish to a wonderful, emotionally impactful series. I feel like any questions I still had were answered, and it wrapped up each character arch well. Like the other installments in this series, it was filled with both romance and heartbreak, but with an immensely satisfying finish. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has read and enjoyed other books by Nisha, or any fans of fantasy romance.

What a rollercoaster.
The series comes to is final heart stopping conclusion.
While Zarya is looking for answers as she finally makes her way to her father who she desperately wants to help her find them.
As Rabin and Zarya fight for their people and their love, secrets are revealed, lives are forever changed and whole world rests on her shoulders.
I could not put this down.
I love the way it all came together in the end.

Zarya and Rabin must work together to find new allies to save her home. She meets her father Abisnek.... who is dangerous and unknown. Can she save her home and Rabin?

So terrific. The action doesn't stop... The romance is great.... Non-stop action, romance from start to finish...

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.

Thank you Second Sky Books and NetGalley for the ARC!

Queen of Shadows and Ruin is the fourth and final installment of Nisha J. Tuli's 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘕𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘘𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘵 series, a vivid romantasy set in a lush world inspired by South Asian (Indian) Mythology.

To say this book blew my mind was out of question. Nisha J. Tuli outside herself with this amazing conclusion to her amazing series.

The way the story began had made me sceptical at the beginning but I was humbly proven wrong when everything unraveled so beautifully and emotionally that I had to take breaks while reading.

The world of Rahajhan was explored more deeply by delving into its history. The characters, their motivations, and everything about them was so emotionally painful and I enjoyed reading them exploring the possibilities and theories they made to find out more about their lore and history.

This ending was very emotional and the last 150 pages had me soo hooked that I was afraid of how was going to die and what was going to happen.

The roller-coaster of emotions this book put me through cannot be understated. The romance, revealtions, heartbreaks, betrayal and secrets had me sobbing.

I truly don't have enough words to write about how amazingly this series was concluded. I enjoyed the way the author ended the last few chapters and the closure and deaths that were needed and had people yearning for.

The last few chapters broke me from those heartbreaking revelations and closures and I don't think this review is doing justice to the book.

I thoroughly enjoyed this installment and conclusion. The amazing whirlwind of emotions this book got me cannot be undermined. This was an amazing conclusion to an amazing series.
