BUSINESS ANALYTICS WITH PYTHON by Bowei Chen and Gerhard Kling is subtitled "Essential Skills for Business Students," and I loved the description which promises a "holistic approach .... complete with practical exercises and activities" Having a graduate school business degree (including classes on linear regression and cluster analysis), I thought it would be a fun challenge to both review and explore some newer perspectives on business, particularly since the publisher notes that the text "assumes no prior knowledge or experience in computer science." Sadly, this reads like a course textbook and I was therefore disappointed. I think it could function well with accompanying lectures, but for me at least, it does not lend itself to individual exploration.

Business Analytics with Python is a one of its kind book that combined business analytics and Python.
It starts with an introduction to calculus, talks about machine learning, and contains many accessible exercises to implement the information provided for analysis.
It is a great textbook that has learning at its core.
I only wish that it were longer and had more exercises for each topic.
