Captive is the second installment of the Blackcoat Rebellion series. I liked the first book in the series and I was so excited to continue the story, but this one was very drawn out and a bit confusing.

I liked how it wasn't too much of a cliffhanger. It was more like a mini cliffhanger—enough to get me excited about the third book, but not enough to make me really pissed off that I have to wait so long. Perfect balance, my friends.

I requested this one back in the day as I had every intention of reading it. However, its been years and I still haven't gotten around to it and while I feel guilty at not reviewing a book I think that I need to admit to myself that I won't be reading this one anytime soon....if at all.

I'm very sorry, but I lost interest in this series after the first book and decided against reading this one. Thanks so much for the opportunity, and I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

I really enjoyed the first book in this series, but had a very hard time getting into the second. I may pick it up again in the future.

Unfortunately, this one just wasn't a good fit for me. I love the premise, but I didn't click with the story, so I won't be reviewing it.
