This is probably one of the best books on well-being that I have ever read, and I have read a lot of them. Since receiving this book, I have actually continuously referred to it over the years, because the information in it has actually stood the test of time. While it's not quite as personal as some similar books in the genre (the whole "well-being project" genre) the recommendations and information in the book are adaptable to any situation. I think the only downside to this book is that it's dense- there's a lot of information and ideas in very short spans of pages- and so it kind of feels like a course in well-being as opposed to a book of tips, if that makes any sense. When I first read it, I was a little overwhelmed because I wanted to make ALL the changes recommended and I felt like I needed to keep notes in a binder. But then I realized i could approach the book like I would a house renovation- one area at a time.

Highly recommended.
